Pulling the tranny and putting in non crunchyness at the bare minimum, also wanting to pull the turbo and replace one of the broken turbo/manifold bolts while I'm working on it and eliminate the stud so that it's 4 bolts for easier access.

The stud wasn't eliminated? hahaah.... i never pulled the heat shield, but that's funny.. thought that was a given when replacing turbos

it was eliminated kinda....it was only in there with 1 thread. then another bolt broke when I was loostening it to get that pita of a downpipe off. Ordered 2 from the dealer and a spare banjo bolt since those things are about as reliable at breaking as clockwork if you don't have one spare.
