I'm looking for a 8.8 housing for my 88lx, just need the housing w/caps and the backing plates.

You should put some 9" ends on that thing.

Yah, that's what the plan is. With the small bearing ends I can still use the 8.8 brakes.

Kinda almost wish i went that route(probably would have been cheaper), i guess my 9" will do just fine with all the goodies.

Yep should work just fine........I am not sure how you break a "9" when you dont use it anyway, I guess you could drop it off the jack stands too fast or something. :)

I put the duster away with no intention of bringing it out for years down the road......The turbo mustang will be back out again when we are done with reids car in a couple months thoe. No real reason to build a top notch car for a low rent track if you know what I mean......

So I bought the boat instead of doing the duster for now and it was a great choice imo. I put sopme work into the pump this off season and may put some juice on it for some of the trips to the river :)

I do remember you telling Jesse you didnt want to be the only ford guy in the 9's this year so he better hurry up.......you really going to have it done this season? It would be really cool to see man.

I just got done with my garage, when its worthy i'll throw up some pics, only money is my last excuse and with the side jobs that'll come. It will come unless i get a call from Portland Fire Department.
