After grinding and sanding and grinding and grinding for two weeks, we got some paint on it. Primer, orange base and then red.

Specs are (from what I remember off the sheet) head ported and polished (also flowed), crank polished and balanced, will have new rods and pistons, will have new cams and springs, tons of other work done that I can't recall right now. Lots of will haves but it should be fast.

It was a shop in Seattle somewhere. Not sure about the specs. I just have the receipt for the parts and it showing the work.

We finally got the pistons in. Had to grind a few rings and the ring compressor was a piece of shit, but we got them in. We had to order new bolts for the pan, rear main and oil pump cuz the guy that tore it down didn't bag anything. The kid got his bonus check from work so we should be putting in the new valve springs this weekend and putting the head on. He is taking the valve cover to the powder-coater Monday. He spent all day cleaning parts and making a list of parts to get. At this rate he should have it in the car in a couple of months. It's not going to break any records but going from around 70 HP to hopefully a little over 200 should make him happy for now.
