Well I was just installing my cams and somehow the torque wrench got messed up (operator error) One of the bolts that holds the cam caps on got broken off. Now its stuck in the head. What are my options for getting it fixed? The bolts seem really soft? Help!!

use an "easy out" or some type of bolt extractor kit. You can get an easy out kit from sears.

drill a pilot hole in the middle of the bolt, then carefully use an easy-out to extract it, or call a machine shop.

No, the head is still on the car otherwise I would take it somewhere. Really dont want to pull it if I dont have to.

I'm not sure if you've made and progress, but i just got mine out right now! I couldn't find carbide drill bits in town so i got some carbide bits for the handy Dremel, bored out the damned broken EZout bullshit, jambed a torx bit inside the bored out hole... and backed that bitch out!
ahhhh.... the feeling of triumph!

I didn't even get past the Intake cam gear bolt today... No triumph...

Well I forgot to update so here goes. I ended up getting a reverse drill bit and an easy out. Took about an hour of slowly drilling and making sure I didnt drop any metal shavings into the head. After that I hammered the easy-out into it and it literally came out by hand. I cant believe it sheared off as easy as it came out.
So all is well (or it seems) and I got everything back together and should be able to start it up in the next couple of days. It may actually drive again!

Yeah, I was scared to death that something else was going to break or it wasnt going to work. When it came out that easy it was a huge relief.

Just to let you guys know when I installed my CTR cams today I decided not to torque the bolts on the cam covers and just to leave them hand tight until tomorrow, because I want to make it at least 24 hours w/o making a KryptoSol/NIevo post....haha
