I have a full 3" exhaust on my talon and a big round muffler on it looks to be about 5" hole in it. I was wondering what everyone else was running. I would like a different sound but not hinder the air flow? To me the damn thing sounds like a tractor before the RPM's get too high. lol My old Talon had a big oval shaped muffler with sort of a resonating chamber on the end of it, sounded sort of like a low grumble. (that I did not mind)
I drive a lot and the sound can be annoying. Which Muffler shop would have the best selection of mufflers.

I like & hate my 3in at the same time.**I can't hear shit.**I have the Megan 3in downpipe cat-elim, and 3in pressbent catback from Discount Muffler here in the Valley.**$112 shipped for the downpipe, $40 for the Megan 4in muffler, $150 for the cat-back & 20 deductable for the rusted metal shavings I had to get scraped out of my eye at the Optomologist.. Good times!

Yeah. I'm with Scott. I love and hate my exhaust. Pretty much all 3 inch setups sound the same with a big outlet muffler. I would love to do something custom but choices are limited as far as mandrel bending and also not hindering flow as you said. I have an idea of something I'd like to do, but it won't happen this year. I do want something different. I think the cantalope thrower is played out and pretty ricey personally. when i start the car in the garage it pretty much shakes the whole house.

Ha ha I know man, at certain RPM's the interior rattles. I guess maybe I will just have to look around and maybe find something...
