You get there early, do your preliminary runs and then dial in from there. Your dial in will put you into a certain bracket for later. no classes though.

However they do usually give a talk to the first timers at the track and give them a general idea of how it works....if that is any help.

There isn't a bracket 8. It was NIevo's poor attempt at being funny.

The classes at SRP are all bracket racing classes, numbered 1 thru 10 depending on your ET. There is also a first timers class, i.e. double elimination. If you have never raced before you can race this class and should you lose in any round of racing you can go into the number bracket according to your ET for a second chance. Although I was told by the track that they possibly will cut this class out this season. There is also a bike/snow mobile class. These brackets race for a trophy in each.
Also, there are 2 money classes-Super Street (11.00-13.49) and Top Comp (10.99 and faster). These classes cost a few more bucks at the gate but the potential to win money. No, none of us are gonna get rich from racing at SRP but $200 to win in Super Street and $400 to win Top Comp isnt too shabby, of course those amount depend on how many cars are in the class that day. Also, they normally pay back 4 places, so if you make it to the semi-round you at least get most of your entry money back. I was told they are gonna hand out trophys to the winners of these classes each week also starting this season along with the check, but dont hold me to that, thats just hearsay. Also, they keep points for these classes and at the end of the year an Awards Banquet is held for the top ten.
Thats pretty much it in a nut shell.

So will your car be ready by the 21st? I'll be there for sure, the wife is due in the middle of April (there goes your sexual orientation theory Jamie) and Im taking 2 weeks off so no work conflicts!

If you have the means and the money to travel any track is better than SRP!!!!!!!!! Every other track treats you like a CUSTOMER and not just some dumb shit who showed up to ruin their day.......and where are all the other AHRA tracks at......hmmmmm
Funny how they change all management and everyone still gets the same bullshit track that it has always been.
Travis.

SRP has so much rubber and rocks and their ASSpault pos track (because they never scrap or maintain it) that the best thing you could use to get traction is concrete tires......LOL
