But I'd need to find 2 crappy rims and tires to throw on the gsx so that I did'nt have to buy 4 new tires when I put it back into awd....anyone want to hook me up?

on my car.....take out passenger side axel and put a axel boot in with no axel attached, and then take the drivers side axel out of the halfshaft and car becomes rwd.....but my car has a TRE spool in the center diff and no viscous coupling. If you tried it then your viscous coupling would burn up.

If you could please post where you got that info from....that would be great. I just looked all over the ASNW website and it didnt say anything about not allowing AWD.

f2unning probably made a complaint because an awd beat one of the cars they worked on so the rules were changes to favour F2unning....

Actually its just because the AWD's carry WAY too much speed to drift. I fully agree. Last year some guy brought his STI out there and he was pulling twice the speeds of everyone else, (cool lookin, but a lot more dangerous) especially in the turns. And for an un-caged ride, I thought it was kinda sketchy.

Ya....but he was also pulling the best drifts of the event . Its kind of an either way thing. Reese Millen started in the D1 driftin an evo.
And as far as Darren (red 2g) and T....i know what you guys are talking about drifting, i know your not goin to be AWD, but the transfer cases in these cars cant take the abuse of all the wheelspin and clutch-kicks. Its been proven that ya you might make it through 1 or 2 events, but it will blow.

If I do it then it'll be just for fun, xfer cases are a dime a dozen anyways, and I know the tranny will hold the abuse :-)

I fully concur, that Drew (kid driving the sti) was pulling some of the best drifts, (second to MAYBE Forrest in the black 2nd gen rx7), but all Im sayin is, for the speeds he was pulling sideways, he shoulda been caged (in my opinion), power drifting is a class in its own and usually requires such.
And T, even if kill your car after 1 or 2 runs, i think it would be sweet to see a dsm out there, its something different. Im sick of seeing only 240's and carrollas our there. However, on the roster I did notice someone registered their 350z, and another guy his 93 or 94 RX7. Should be sweet.
