Whats a good one to buy? I'm looking at going this route before I put my other turbo on.

I pretty much looked at all the progressive controlers before buying mine. I really liked the Devi'ls Own controler b/c its fully digital, works the pump through PWM versus varying voltage.

I actually took it out of the car, just to simplify tuning. I'll give you a deal on it.

I'm sure you are aware of how all the other vitara 400whp guys are doing it. I'm just gonna do it the tried and true way. race gas and lots of boost. thats why i took it out.

You use differing nozzle sizes to meter flow, and the progressive controler is used to tune the ramp up rate.

The "start" psi setting is 15% duty. The "full" is 100% duty.
It reads off of Map voltage, so if its going on a DSM you'd probably have to wire up a dummy map sensor.

I like Dave from Coolingmist.com.**His customer service is fantastic!**He gave me a free 150psi Shurflo and fittings after going though 2 bad pumps in a row. What kind of set up were you looking for?

I have an extra 2bar GM map I could use.

What are you wanting for it?

I'm going to be running a factory side mount I/C with a Forced Performance sleeper 16G turbo. The most I will be running is 25psi. But for the most part it will be at 22psi. I'm going for the stock look.:)

In the AWD I might never find, I'm going direct port and aquamist parts. It'll cost twice what the other kits cost but well worth it.

Aquamist is one of the best out there. Im going to be running a SMC kit but thats just becaue they make a kit that replaces my front intercooler sprayer bottle.

Let me know if you are looking at getting some meth soon because Im trying to figure out where to get it from and you can get better deals if you by large amounts.

If i remember correctly, i think coolingmist varies voltage to the pump? I'm told this will kill an electric motor over time.

From what ive gathered, i think aquamist is the most reliable and fast acting, however, it doesn't quite have the capacity to flow as much at the Sureflow pumps.

On sureflow pump setups, ive noticed that you have to tune in anticipation for its slow acting motors. I'm talking about a split second if that, but it happens, such as downshifting on the highway.

One thing that is kind of neat about the Devil's Own controler is that it will anticipate these conditions and start to pulse the motor intermitently just right before the target "start" PSI setting.

Nope, only when you use their progressive controlers, then it regulated voltage to supply delivery via programable RPM/5volt input maps.**The voltage is supplyed by a basic 5box relay.**Aside from that the only thing that regulates is the pressure.**IIRC the Shurflow pump switch activates at 120psi and shuts down at 160psi

rrussell, That will be cool to see..**I thought you were running nitrous though?

On occasions I will be running the bottle. But for the most part it will be on the motor.

I'm going to try a few things.

25shot with water/meth injection

75shot with and without water/meth injection, pump fuel with toluene mix

125shot with and without water/meth injection, VP-C16 fuel

150shot with VP-C16 only

I've been really impressed with the way some of the DSM's have been using water/meth injection and keeping their engines alive.

Looks like I will be buying KryptoSol water/meth injection this coming week. So let the fun begin!

Thanks for the input guys.

That ought to be fun. Are you just using an SAFC and logger?

Does the devil's own kit use a high speed valve or on/off solinoid? Or does it vary/pulse voltage to the pump?

This year I'm just going to be running a SAFC II and my Innovate LMA-3 W/B data logger. I'm also building my own map-based ignition retard system.
