700R4 to turbo 350

What are the differences in performance? Tranny just blew on a 91 Formula Firebird and debating on 700R4 vs. turbo 350. I don't know what I would need to convert to a turbo 350 either. Any one got any info?

I'd stick with the 700R4 There a good Transmission if there built right. Then you don't have to change anything. 700R4s have a lower first gear ratio and an overdrive the Th350 Don't

I know of a VERY good TH350 for sale that Trannyman can give you the specs of if that is the route you want to go (Billy is looking at a new setup for the Turbo Z).

I think i remember theres a few companies that make "kits" (crossmember, torque arm adapter etc.) to swap Fbody trannys around...but i think thats if you're going more drag racing oriented....even then ehhh
