Before I pulled the head:

and 30 minutes later...

Pressure washed it a bit and pulled the head. Pistons looked good, not much valve damage - valves are screwed, but I have a good head too - no worries :)

Everyone should own one once in their life. I saw an exaxt copy of the dark cherry tsi on the side of the road with its hazards on today.

fender looks repairable unless you can get it for like $20 then its not worth fixing it

The core support looks fine in the pic's above........the hood is not shut.
Eric,
just put a new/used fender on it! Its not worth messing with that one.

The hood WON'T shut because some stuff is bent down a little bit - I havn't bothered fixing it yet. Used fender from whities = $50, but it's white.
Here's a question to you paint buffs. When the car is wet, it looks badass. When it dries, it looks all faded and shit. do I just need to polish/buff it, or what?

It needs a new clear coat on it!!! You can wax it but it it will go away after a few washes.

The "purple" car as you say is actually blue and would be mine. And nice eye, those are painted RSX wheels.

Working all day buddy. Wouldn't pay the entry fee if I wasn't racing anyways. I'd end up being the filming bitch.

your guess is as good as mine. waiting, waiting, waiting. my guess is I'll only race half a season by the time its broken in to actually race. I've got other things I'm taking care of as we speak, so it keeps me busy while I wait. i was real antsy for a while but I've come to realize that you don't want to rush things if you want them done right.
