Ok...well not done. GSR is bein built right now.
Some of you may remember that i picked this up a couple of months ago. 94 integra ls automatic. Pretty much left it alone till this last week. Got the 5-speed swap done a couple of hours before leaving for Honda-tech last friday. And now its runnin 10lbs. No traction in 1st or part of second and tops out at around 165+. So what do you guys think? Kinda sleeperish huh?

Its pullin very consistent 10.5-10.6 on the wideband so its running just super rich. Im gonna try runnin about 13lbs and see how it does.

Very sleeperish. The stock muffler is a nice touch. super clean inside and out.

Screw that, if you aren't running a cut out I bet you have atleast 50whp to be gained by going to a 3" exhaust.
What are you using to tune with? 10.5:1 is WAY too rich. Too rich can be bad just like being too lean.
What clutch are you using? I'm surprised my car is a lot different than yours. I can do okay traction wise in 1st and 2nd but in 3rd and 4th I have no chance....

Its open downpipe. Loud only when you get into it. Its got a type r clutch and flywheel.

Uhm no, maybe a little lower, but i went 150+ in it. the speedo stops reading at 150 and i went beyond that. At 150 i was at 5900 rpm and redline is 7500. It was still pulling pretty good at 150.

Theres nothing sleeper about an open downpipe. :P LoL... you'll quickly realize its a bit much for the streets once the novelty of open down pipe wears thin.

turbo ls motors make a butt load of torque, but typically the torque falls on its face above 55000-6000rpms. Where as your b16 is gonna carry the torque up along much higher.

ya, its still pretty quiet until you lay into it. before i turbo'd it, it had a really bad exhaust leak in the stock pipe and it sounds exactly the same, so when im drivin around and run into people that dont know it yet, they think its normal cause it just sounds like an exhaust leak. And as far as the LS, when it was N/A, yea it fell on its face at 6800ish, but now it pulls the same at 7500 as it does at 5000, just hard as hell. its at about 10.5psi now and traction is the biggest problem. 1st is useless, 2nd you have to peddle it, and 3rd you can matt it. Im estimating its making around 260-275 to the ground. Theres a ton of tuning left to do, and everything is there for 300. After 300 im gonna run out of injector, im only running dsm 450's now. My goal until i get the GSR built is 310 though.

I don't even think you will make it to 300 on DSM's, but if you bump up fuel pressure you can do it. Remember injectors are maxed out at 85% duty cycle.

at 150 it was surprisingly smooth. Theres enough weight and the spoon springs make it comfortable. that was a one time deal though. i didnt realize till i finaly looked down and the speedo was sunk and to be honest it scared the shit out of me.

DSM's work pretty well up to about 95%. Which i know at about 90 they start falling off, but ya i understand what your sayin. RC's are the scariest to take past 88% IJDC. I ve heard so many stories of the pintle siezing and leaning the motor out and blowin it up.

The thing with the torque curve is an LS signature, regardless of turbo or na. Stock LS head will never carry the torque curve into the upper rpms like its vtec counter parts will, But it'll make relatively a shit load more torque down low.
spinning 1st and 2nd is a FWD thing, but spinning 3rd and 4th is another animal. :

i maxed out some DSM450s on the dyno last year, and that was stretching them with the water injection too. But thank god for having W/I at the time. 323whp.

Ya ive got a perfectly good b16 head ready to go, i wanted to do an ls/vtec but i just dont like that whole setup, so i picked up a GSR bottom end. So on the same setup with the gsr in place i should be making considerably more hp just cause ot the flow of the vtec head. I cant wait. I can almost get em to spin in third, but not quite. Theres a ton of torque steer though. Its still kind of a learning process for me, this is alot different that making a dsm fast. (Its alot cheaper)
i did 150 coming back from montana racing a charger srt8 ....it was actually pretty smooth ride with my H&R race springs....anyway hey jared told me that he toook you and a b16 7psi crx with his all motor hatch the other night u ugys went out....true?

Not true.....well not all of it. I raced Cody who has my old b16b crx on 7psi, i smoked him the first race, so he turned up the boost to 9 or 10, and the second i was pulling him hard and my wastegate pipe cracked dropping my boost to 6 and then he pulled on me, but at 150 he was only 1 car on me so he beat me, and then i raced jared and wasnt building any boost on the 2-step so i knew i was screwed, so we raced and i was all motor till third gear and made about 4psi and started to pull him in hard, but by the top of 4th he was a car on me so ya, he beat me. I lost, lol. basicaly making no boost. So now Cody and those guys are running around telling everyone that i lost to Jareds all-motor setup. Oh well, ill see everyone at the track, my setup is fixed now that the manifold is all braced.

Pshh... of course man!? LoL... Its called the SSRA, The Spokane Street Racing Association. But your car gots to be able to do at least 150mph on the street to join. Even i can't join, my car will only do 75mph on the highway. :P

Ya it cracked, had no bracing whatsoever and that big wastegate hangin a foot off the motor was just too much weight bouncing. But its all braced and the turbo is now braced to the motor so it been holding up real good.

yea i was thinking a turbo LS should walk all over a b20v-tec ...but i wasnt there so i was just taking it by WORD...it makes sense now tho considering your mani. cracked cause that hurts the setup alot...but for sure let the track tell the tale...track and street is a totally differnt race:D

The first race i lost caus i missed second. no big deal i have no problem loosing. the second race i could'nt catch traction at all and i beat you. you pulled on me the second race cause i was busy at the start spinning my tires, when i caught traction in 3rd i caught back up and pulled on you. (and we both had cracked wastgate pipes! I never turned up the boost. If you don't belive me look at my car. i only poped my hood after the first race cause i had no filter on my inlet and i was checking to make sure there was'nt anything in the blade. WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT I TURNED UP THE BOOST? And to top it off im not RUNNING around telling people that jerid smoked you. I know that your manifold cracked, and by the way the next morning i found a huge crack in that custom 90 degree bend i had to make for my wastgate. so we both had issues. you probably dont evan realize that i hav'nt even told anyone that we raced. im not running around telling people i beat you. and if you remember after we got back into the parking lot i told you that that race did'nt even matter to me cause the road was so bad. If you want to race me fair then ill see you at the track. my car is'nt wideband tuned yet IM ON 7 PSI and bald tires. the b16 is a play toy right now untill the sleeved block is done. Im not a sore looser and i dont have a problem admitting when i loose.

With all the shit that happened last month with the street racing accident on division I would think our resident "pro tuners" would have a little more common sense.**Don't come here and talk about your big gravel-road street racing adventure, it doesn't give anything positive toward the racing community or this site.

You guys need to stop racing on the street, it's only 1 week until the track opens, I think you can all hold out.
Steve, selling your car over this drama is probably the worst thing you can do, you will probably regret it too.
Besides, from my experiences, the only people/cars who street race are the slow ones. I'm not saying i've never raced anyone out there but I'm just saying the risks out weigh the benefits.

yea this is starting to sound like a soap opra...lol...but anyway steve u should def keep your car and if a couple of u guys have ur differnces just wait and settle it at the track....who cares what who said what or whatever, people talk ,and when its done a tthe track their cant be any excuses...we all trying to acheive the same goal with our cars so i think its stupid to argue with eachother...altho i know how annoying it can be when people talk alot...

Well, I know that Cody and steve will/should be a good race. I have been in cody's car and it is quick, havent seen steves yet, but heard it is fast. Just give it some time till the track is open, one week, and let your driving where it matters count for what you say....There are always disagreements when you are competing. I mean the whole point is to beat the other. But on city streets, its a gamble more than a race. I just want everyone to have respect for what each is trying to do. Just my .02...

I do apologize to all those out there who are offended that we raced on the street. For me it was just the temptation was too overwhelming. Ive been driving this automatic ls integra all winter and within a week went from that to a boosted 5-speed that i built, so i just couldnt resist. I will say that since then i have turned down several invites and opportunities to race with a couple of people. I know the track opens up the 21st for T&T, and i will be there assuming i havent sold the teg yet. Im in no way tryin to give anyone a bad name and i didnt even come here and post that we raced. I was just proud of what i had done and wanted to share. Sorry guys.

that kind of post is drama! steve i came here and posted to set somthing straight you did the SAME THING about jerid. you posted what happend right? im not here to cause problems im sorry if people see my post as causing drama but thats not what i meant. im out and about and all i hear is that steve smoked me and its all over spokane speed. any normal person that heres somthing thats a lie would do the same thing and check it out. im so sick of drama in this town that i lost my cool when i read that I turned up the boost to 9 or 10 pounds, sorry. you can be as sceptical as you want about street racing but like steve said we waited all winter and the temptation overtook me. and because i tune cars why does that mean that i have to be held to a higher standard? you cannot tell me that you never street raced and if you can honestly say that then i feel sorry for you. just so you know we were way the hell out on like mount spokane area in the middle of no where. (not in the middle of division) regardless of what you think im not trying to start drama, in my post did i bad mount steve? did i call him dirty names? NO i simply set the record straight just like he did when someone said that jerid smoked him. and as far as i know the track might not even open so sorry for wanting to race you dont need to jump down my neck!
