Question 1.

I've seemed to run into an air metering problem I have no experience with. I logged a 2nd gear pull (maftcal4.dat) this morning, and BoostEst mimicked GM33bar pretty well until 6000rpm where airflow dropped like a rock from my stock 2g intake manifold. On the way home from work tonight I decided to capture a 3rd gear (3rdgearpull.dat) highway log and noticed BoostEst, AirflowPerRev & InjOn were extremely erratic, completely different then anything I have ever seen. Could it be possable for my M7 injector to be getting winshild fluid on my 3in GM MAF 6 inches downstream from the Injector?? It seems very unlikely because the boost switch is set to turn on at 10psi, and the airflow doesn't start looking erratic until boost threshold (22psi) at 3800rpm..

Another thought I have is maybe my 1g bov is causing this.

Question 2.

I have RC 550cc injectors, but to get my A/F and PLXWB to match up on that 3rd gear pull (3rdgearpull.dat) you need to adjust my A/F Properties to 630cc. To get my A/F to match up with my PLXWB at idle (Idle.dat) I had to adjust it to 510cc. I don't understand that.

To get my A/F and PLXWB to match up at idle (AFPLXmatch.dat) with 550cc in the A/F properties I needed to lower my 50hz to +3, but g/rev was a little low (.26) and the LTFTlow were +5% while LTFTmid was -2.3%. So I raised up the 50HZ slider to +8 (Idle.dat) to keep my LTFTlow stable at -1% (week now). G/rev have been stable at .27g/rev at that setting. I have very little experiences with the relationship of these two. Would this be caused by an post front 02, pre PLX exhaust leak, like a blown downpipe gasket?

What should I do?

Get rid of your DSM cuz they are a pain in the ass!:D j/k this is over my head I wish I could be of some help though.

you haf a massive bewst leak.....

A boost leak would explain the exessive airflow, but not the irratic behavior. I have a feeling that's part of it.

It could explain the erratic behavior because your turbo is working like crazy to hit 22psi with the massive boost leak. If that's the case, your intake temps are probably outrageous.

We have an air compressor Scott. let me know if you need anything.

I've seemed to have fixed my airflow issue (so far).**I went out and did 7, 3rd gear pulls from 2500rpm to 7000rpm.**4 with injection on, 3 with injection off, and I think I narrowed the problem to liquid pooling in my intercooler.**From what I can gather I set my injection switch to come on at to low of a boost (7psi).**After leaving the injection system on 3 months without going full WOT and doing lots of little here and there winter 2nd gear pulls at a low boost level little bits of ionized water/alky vapors were being trapped in the UICP after the throttle plate closed and settling to the bottom of my FMIC.**Without enough pressure from the turbo (13psi) the small water droplets weren't able to make it up the UICP into the MAF.**After a long enough time this must have caused a pretty decent sized pool and when I turned up the boost (22psi) the water/alky mix started interfering with the hot-wire making it think the density of the air was much higher then it was creating these spikes in airflow/ipw.**It's very possable a boost leak may have helped inflated these numbers.**I tightened everything up the best I could today before going out and doing the data logging.**

22.5psi @ 3547
3in GM MAF is now calibrated to my ECU.
Fuel trims are all withing -/+ 5%
WB matches Dsmlink Est

I forgot how bad Airflow drops like a rock with these stock cams/intake manifold (time go get these BC272's in)

I was comparing the logs to the log I have from my 12.4 ET.**Things look good this year!!!

just wondering, any reason you are spraying the alcy way up there instead of just before the tb after the MAF since the MAFT does'nt case what your IAT is?

It's not that far away from the elbow. maybe 2-3 inches.
