It would be nice if they run the lights again. I made a few changes to the duramax from last friday and would like to see the difference.

Times for FNSR are simply a gimmick to get the car count up. The response was good for that alone, but if they have times every friday for 5 bucks...whos going to show up for the saturday programs??

Not so much! We ran times because that is what the people wanted so the way it was approached was it takes allot of time to put light's and stuff up and calibrate it! So what we came up with was on the first high school drag night of the month we will run times hence the lights are already up and running they might as well stay up! We are not worried about people not showing up for Saturday events due to the fact that we don't do any special competition theres no money up for grabs so why would you just want a time on your car if your use to competing for a trophy and some money instead of getting a time slip and getting bragging rights? Its two different demographics we are promoting to the FNSR group is anyone who has a valid drivers license and the high school drags and Saturday events is any one who wants to race and win some money and play for the competition not just come out to race a buddy and show how fast your car is (or slow in some cases). Like I said everyone asked us this question for years so when we saw the opportunity to do we did and thanks to the sweet turn out on Friday well be doing it again ounce a month!

Regardless, it gets the car count up.??That is the intent, everything you do or say to promote FNSR is to get the car count up.??Plain and simple.

Im actually disappointed.??The only people that wanted to have lights for FNSR are the ones who dont want to pay for the Saturday program. It really has nothing to do with demographics. In fact, from a business standpoint SRP would have been better off to increase the car count during the regular Saturday program by lowering the saturday prices by $5.00 and providing more payout classes.

I was really hoping that SRP would direct more attention to getting to old saturday programs back.??As well as a more dedicated import points series.??Having clocks on friday nights will not help the saturday programs develop.??Especially for the import drivers who dont have an eliminator pay out class on saturdays.

Who wants to pay $20.00 to race for a $2.00 trophy?

Ya know the best way for you thoughts and ideas to make it to the track and possibly used is to tell me express to me what you want to see out there Friday Saturday Sunday whatever let me know I'll take om to the appropriate people and see what I can do and get done out there. They want the crowd count they want the car count no reasonable idea is shot down without at least looking it over and putting a true consideration towards it. If you want to see something tell me in detail by emailing to spokanefnsr@aol.com or sending me a pm message on here or by sending me a message on the my space account! I will work for you all to see what I can do to see that the car count goes up and the crowd count goes up and everyone enjoys theme self out there! its going to take time to perfect things but I'm confident that we can make this work for you the guest of Spokane Raceway Park in time.

last 2 years I've been to FNSR 3 times.??Why???

1. No times
2. Break shit for nothin
3. 12 sec ricers running 14's who dont want to race becasue they "don't have enough gas" but like clogging up the stageing lanes.
4.??No one with a fast car gives a flying fuck about FNSR becasue 1, 2, 3!??

Ps.??I would pay $10 for slips on a friday becasue I have to work every Saturday.

5. I don't trust all the dip shits that tear through the parking area and staging lanes thinking their mother's cavaliers are teh uBer $hit gifted to man by the greek car god himself.

God damn it... I swore I wasn't going to register for this site, and here I am posting... Fuck!

Reasons I don't come out to FNSR like I used to:

It costs me quite a bit to make passes.

No last man standing contest.

The pits last year were filled with idiots whom raced around (this may have changed).

The only people who would race me were bikes... and even then it was hard to coax them into a race.

Anyway, I'll put up some suggestions in the suggestions thread.
