Les Schwab is a local dealer for the somewhat new Toyo Drag Slicks. Right now Toyo is offering Buy one Tire get the second FREE.

They dont offer as many different sizes as MT or Hoosier (or other) but do have some sizes for the front wheel drive cars all the way up to 33x16's.

I have never talked to anyone using these so I dont know how they compare but for the price, hell its worth trying them. Just thought I would pass it on if no one has heard about this yet. I got mine last week.

Sucks, i got really excited and looked into their sizing, but they only go down to 26" tall. I need like 23" oh well i guess, ill keep looking.

I could probably use some new tires. If I remember right Toyo is the tire that Papadakis runs.

How long are they holding this deal?

I have the same size, and according to a few onlookers mine isnt spinning either...however since I started using these tires my 60 foot time and reaction time have went away....so many other things it could be, not going to blame the tires yet-but I'm not ruling them out either........

Steve Federline runs a top alcohol Dragster on the division 6 circut and got full sponcership by toyo tires this season! He made 5 passes in vegas a few weeks a go with the old hoosiers on and then switched on the new Toyos.......On the first pass with them the tries came apart at the 1100 ft mark riping the wing off the dragster and causing a horrible crash that left steve with back injuries.

He got a new ride and is still sponcered by toyo but toyo recalled the tires and went back to the hoosiers....steve hired a driver for the last few races but he will be back in the dragster in Chicago in two weeks for the Jegs All Star race. Steves car with the new driver won in Mission on sunday with a 5.30, anyway just a little insight on the new toyo's so far......

I know few people with the Toyos that like them. I also have personally had a Firestone tire fly apart on me.

In reality, there is no one here that runs the kind of wheel speed that Federline's dragster does that would have such a failure. Not to mention the size of tire.

Tire came apart at around 265/270 mph......Post wasnt intended to scare anyone, just some info is all.
