Wheels came with the car, I can't stand it when people put the SN95 R wheels on '99+ new edgers. Y2K R 18's on order from SVT with Kumho Ecsta 295/35's being mounted.
Car is an SOHC 4.6, mild build with a Vortech V2 S/C, intercooled and pullied at 6 lbs. with California cats, dynotuned to meet Cali emissions on 91 octane, that will be changing soon as the car is being re-registered to Idaho. Cats will go and car will be tuned at 11 lbs. on 92 octane. The rest of the car is set up for road racing like an R; SFC's, MM coilovers all around, bushings galor, MM tubular K-member with tubular A-arms, adjustable tie rods, mounting a T56 in it as we speak with a Fidanza flywheel and Mcleod 700 ft-lb. clutch, viper input shaft, '03-'04 cobra driveshaft, '03-'04 cobra brakes. Still has the solid axle out back which will get the boot here soon enough but wheels and T56 are number one priorities right now. Hood and front bumper are OEM SVT R parts, wing is aftermarket as SVT discontinued it years ago. Sparco Torino II racing seats, harnesses, also getting a cage this week. Still has A/C/cruise/stereo but weighs less than an actual R does. Tons of other stuff like aluminum radiator, 3.73 gears, Ford racing mid-length headers, Magnaflow 2.5" x-pipe/catback (will be changed to an R-like side exhaust, that was also discontinued by SVT, sadly). Rear bumper will be changed to a V6 model to get rid of exhaust cutouts. Started as a '99 GT auto but not much left to identify it as one besides the displacement/live axle.
Should be fun when it is done.

Which is why the wheels are disappearing.
You know someone with an actual 2000 R?

Car looks great!
If it were me i would have gone with a built 5.4, but i'm a fan of the 4Vs.
I have a friend that maybe interested in doin a irs swap. Not sure if he still wants to get rid of it, but i could find out.

Thanks! Motor was done by the previous owner, since it is road racing I actually would have preferred a built Romeo aluminum block 4v motor with either a Kenne Bell or Hellion turbo kit as I won't need more than 500whp to do what I want. However, a high strung fully built 5.4 would have been awesome, a builder I know in south Florida runs one and he makes 570 to the wheels with it. Sadly his build list is 18 months waiting time.
Keep me posted on the IRS swap for sure. What year car would it be out of?

It would be from a 99 cobra.
I know what you mean, Al Pappito does awesome work with 4V motors.
You can't go wrong with Boss 330, VT Engines, or my personal favorite, Modular Performance.
I'll talk to my friend about the irs and let you know what he's planning on doing.

Cool, thanks. I'd prefer an '03-'04 Cobra IRS but will consider others as well.

Yeah, I think jzcobra was talking about my car. I love the feel of the IRS, its comfortable and great on the road and in corners. I would prefer a solid because i dont like the thought of breaking stuff, even though i would be losing some comfort. Although, the IRS can be built to handle a lot.
