Well in one hour i got off the driver side head (totally cheated and left the intake on) and found a blown header gasket that im sure was the boost surge problem. The damn twin setup is so picky with exhaust balance so it was the same problem as before. Only in a different place! The big problem was not the head gasket as my $8 head gasket looked mint even after the dyno thrashing but the head that apparently froze over in a past life and the 5 CRACKS it has on the outside and thru the #3 intake port and across the intake seat!
The thing is totally shattered but even clean and doing the port work they never showed up. Anybody have a 487x casting they wanna sell if Jeff Cassel doesn't have one? The x casting is somewhat hard to find it seems. Here are some pix.

Ooooh burn from the ford camp! Hey at least my car is an automatic and doesnt even HAVE a throwout bearing eh? : )

I shouldnt live my life a quarter mile at a time.I guess i was trying to beat the other guy too hard eh? Instead of just flooring it, i must have floored it EVEN more! LOL Thanks for the help finding another head guys. Jeff Cassell is going to look thru his stash and see if he has one so if that doesnt pan out, i'll be on the hunt. Stupid 487 X heads are kinda rare. See what happens when i deviate from totally worthless expendable parts? Im getting waaaaay too high budget on this whole thing now. Im up to like 23 bucks and all the change i found in my couch in this motor. Oh BTW, when i think of head, that aint what im usually thinkin bout!
