Who's running it?

I've been rocking meth for about 14 months now and love it. I run 24psi on 92 oct with a single 600cc nozzle before the throttle body, after the hotwire MAF.

The delivery is consistant but I'd like to move to direct port injection next spring. The hobbs switch I use is kinda sketchy. Most of the time it works fine, sometimes it seems to activate the solinoid a little late and my knock warning light is already going off. Especially if my coolant temp is over 200.

Oh, and where can I buy some methonal around here??? I've only got a couple gallons left and can't find a local source.

I run it on my Honda, and i must say i'm very happy with it! I would look into some sort of progressive controller. I'm running the Devil's Own progressive kit and it basicly my alky comes in at 15% duty @6psi and then ramps up to full duty @ 11psi on a 3GPH nozzle. The transition is very smooth, i have yet to feel a hiccup.

I'm not sure where you can get methanol around here, i run a 50/50 mix.

I plan to purchase a 55 gal drum of methanol soon.??Maybe I can work something out for you guys.??I need to check into the resale requirements for methanol.

How many people here are using methanol?? Would it be worth my time to look into resale or would you guys get it elsewhere anyway??

I just installed it. I went through 3 shurflo pumps before getting one that worked. Matter a fact I still havn't got a chance to finsh the last bit of wireing so I havn't used it yet.??I'm trying to figure out why my idle is fawed.??Dsmlink forums to slow, taking forever to figure out.??My work has 50 gallon drums of Meth for mixing winshild washer fluid.??I hanv't asked if it would be a problem using some.??I'm 99% sure they will be fine with it.??I'm only have a 250cc m4 injector right now running so meth is out of the question.??Whenever I get this thing working I'll consider getting an m15 or equivelent and run meth.??

To utilize Meth you really need to supply 25%-50% Meth/fuel ratio.??Being I'm still on my 450cc injectors at 90% IDC and have an M4 injector it's only adiquite for 15% of my fuel delivery

(injector size x IDC) * # of injectors * % of water/alchy injected

(450cc x .9) X 4 = 1620 * .15??= 243cc

I'd rather just wait until I get a larger injector, 15% is just about right for H20...

lol I was going to post the equations for you. I assumed you thought the M4 was too big by saying it was "out of the question."

Even with that small of an injector, 250cc of methonal is still going to do good. But I can see not wanting to mess with methonal without the right sized injector, I don't blame you.

What are you using to activate the system?

I have a regular 5box realy wired in with an 8-25psi boost switch, running to the FPS so it will work with dsmlink.??I've wired in a few blinky LED's to keep eyes on the tank/float & injector. Also wired in an inline switch so I can keep it off If I want.??

Holly fucking crap does a DSM wake up on Meth!!??After a little tuning up at eric's house I gained 90 torque & 62 hp from my previous run at the track yesterday where I ran a 13.32 ET...??This thing flat out fucking halls ass now!! Well, generaly speaking for a 14b.. It's still a pussy, but I love her..

Yeah I kidnapped Scott's car for a few hours last night and had my way with his meth injection/dsmlink... got the car to respond quite well. this thing is fun to drive now ;)

still needs more tuning, but not too much.

Nope, It was tuned on Heat/h20 50/50 mix. We ran out of h20 last night so we put in -20deg winsheild fluid.
