I've never shopped for a new bike and I'm probably going to pick one up on my 25th birthday next month. How much room does a place like that have to haggle? I'm guessing not as much as a $30k+ car but I don't know what to expect. Is MSRP par for the course? I'm looking at the 07 ZX-6r.

Well if buying a new bike is like buying a new car than not much. Dealers don't make jack shit off new stuff, atleast in the car world. It's used cars where the money is at.

how set in stone are you about buying a kawi? I can get you a screaming deal on a gixxer or a honda, can probably get you a decent deal on a kawi but not as good as a honduh or zuke.

I purchased my bike from westside I would recommend them I owned a 2003zx6r and it kicked ass. But they don't haggle prices on there new stuff only used they do.

The Kawi just felt the best so far. I'm 6'5" so finding a 600 that fits is hard. The F4i wasn't bad but they're no more I guess. The RR is a lot tighter to me and the gixxers are super tight. Yeah, let me know what you can do. I'd appriciate it. I'll check out the RR again but if have a hook up on the 6r, that would be sick.

Bought a black 07 zx-6r on thursday. They gave me next weeks sale price at $1200 under retail. If anyone's shopping, Les bought 40 of them for the sale so they've got all colors right now and a sweet red 6r with a 2 bros exhaust, power comander, smoked windshield and lenses, rear sear cover, and some other stuff all installed for only $200 over retail.
