Fuel Pump

I've never had to replace a fuel pump before so I'm dumb with this. Please bear with me....

How do you know when your fuel pump goes out as in, are their warning signs before it stops working completely or does it just stop?

Car just wont start when pump doesn't pump fuel, or it might start and die.

Generally you will hear it moaning or growling.Another one is it wont like to start when its low on gas.

Check the Inirtia switch... The wife's car had a bad one. There is also a fuel pump relay that should be checked before changing the pump.....
