All kidding aside, I got hooked up by Pat up on Francis, Mach 1 muffler. He is the only one I have personal experience with, I would go with VWlover's suggestion though.

I'm trying to get an appointment with Dave, but he's pretty busy right now and can't really get me in. That's why I'm curious on where you all go and get exhausts.

dave did a 2.5" cat back on my cavvy for like $300. i supplied the muffler.

would definitley recomend him for sure. He does get busy some times though.

Today was my ONLY day off since I work all week and only get Sundays off. Yeah I know my schedule sucks. Anyway I had mine done at Muffler Mart and they did a pretty good job. Don't wanna talk about how much it costed though. It's super quiet now, feels like I'm driving a regular civic now. When full boost hits it's like wow stock exhaust noise. =D

well you get what you pay for. But I WILL pass along your thoughts on it. Maybe if you wanted cheap you should get a welder and some time, or you could take it to Doc's. Or drive something older so shit don't cost so much!

yeah the 1 car @ a time blows, but some people are just worth waiting for LOL specially when they know wtf they`re doing. others just aint worth your time...

Well I guess todd should quit his job so your shit can get done! He has the card board to make the templets but, I don't see any windows anywhere???? You know he's not taking your windows out..... He's not going to risk scratching your car or busting a window. Frankly I'm surprised dave still has a business as many times as he has been fined for doing illegal shit.

Well you do get what you paid for, so far I've liked the quietness, but then I kinda wish I had mandrel bends instead of crush bends. Not even true 3" exhaust! Oh well, no complaining from me. Just got to work with what I can afford.

I checked out the mandrel bender last weekend at discover auto , it's the real deal . The owner is a nice guy too.

I had Cody at jdm performance do my downpipe on my 1g. He only charged me around $100 for a full 3" dp. and he is goin to redo the 3" exhaust that i was charged $250 for at Mach 1. which has 4 bends around the rear end and is crush bent. My Dp is mandrel and my exhaust is goin to be a 2 bend mandrel and he is goin to charge me around another $100 for that. For you dsm guys, Hes doin a full 3" turbo back with a turbo muffler for about $350 i believe, which is friggin awesome. hes already done 2 or 3 and nobody has had anything bad to say. Tell him Steve refered you and hell hook you up. His # is 509-868-5417.

I already know some people here have split decisions about Doc's..... Well up until yesterday I was on the "Its an ok place" side. I finally was able to get a Skunk2 full cat back for the S2000. When I got to see the exhaust Doc's had done I was rather pissed.

First- they were supposed to replace the piping from the cat back.
-They didn't

Second- The mufflers that were installed had the worst weld job done to them I think I have ever seen. It looked like they were messed up and hacked off and re-welded like 5 times.

Third- Those previously mentioned weld connecting the mufflers to the pipe. Yeah they were not closed. There was about an inch long line of carbon on each pipe from where there was a a 2mm deep x 3cm long hole.

I suppose I shouldn't care anymore since I was able to upgrade but I mean when I pay for something I expect to may not get the best quality but I still expect it to be done properly.
