Well I finally got the ol' Daytona back together and ready to sell. For those who don't know the car, here is the breakdown.
88 Shelby Z
2.5L Turbo engine built like a tank.
Billet caps, main and head studs. T2 polished rods with ARP bolts and no bronze bushings. They have been machined to take SBC wrist pins.
Cutsom Wiseco 8:0-1 pistons, moly coated skirts, ceramic coated tops, tool steel floating pins. (I have one spare piston that comes with the car 'just in case')
SS o-rings on the block side.
Nicely ported "bathtub" style head with 89 roller cam. Ported intake and exhaust manifolds matched to the head. Custom intercooler ducting, K&N filter, 1g DSM bov (that is loud as hell).
Runs mid 14's at 101 killing the tires and mid 13's at 114 on the bottle killing the tires even worse.
I am including the new nitrous system i put together for it that is good for another 125HP.
3" mandrel bent exhaust, converted to 568 Transmission and shifter, 89 K-member and 11.25" 89' brakes all the way around. 16" "pumper" wheels. Mopar Performance hardened motor mounts on all the way around. MP bobble strut.
The car is in great shape, the AC blows cold and has been converted to 134A. The car could really use and alignment since I have not done so since throwing new struts and steering rack up front. It does have plenty of little squeaks and rattles inside (lets face the facts, its and 80's chrysler product).
