-Get Dry Ice to remove Sound Deadening Tar

From there I will start digging into the suspension

haha we have a garbage can and I'm trying to keep the shop clean cuz its pretty easy to lose and mix up nuts/bolts when tearing down 2 of the same car.

Well that hunk of shit single cam KA is out I will get pics for you all tomorrow in the day light. I have some serious scrubbing to do. My 240 Hatch had a cleaner engine bay after throwing a rod through the block than this one does with a running ka in it. I will take some before shots of teh engine bay so you all can see what I'm talking about, then I'll scrub it down and take some more. Shit the only bad part is that I'm going to be back to driving the rabbit for a few days:(

Meng ran HS and FNSR I watched HS but had to work at 7. Tuesday the SR is coming out of the hatch and going in the coupe. So hopefully in a couple weeks i'll be back at teh track.

3 cans of Gunk Engine Degreaser, a kitchen scrub brush, a bunch of rags, and a few Bud Lights. I actually have two 240SX's, 1 coupe and 1 hatchback but I prefer the coupe body styling so I'm pulling my entire setup out of my hatchback which has the SR20, coilovers, lsd, etc and putting them all in the coupe and everything from the coupe is going in the hatch. Plus the coupe is lighter and should have a little stiffer chassis b/c its a basemodel, no pw, pl, or sunroof and no giant ass flexible hatch glass.

Well I pulled the SR20 out today and put it in the hatch, all I have left to do as far as the motorswap goes, is to put the drive shaft in, run the wiring through the firewall, put my radiator back in and fill with fluids. The bad thing is that I still have bikirom to install, finish getting the sound deadening tar out of the inside, then put the interior back together...so put the dash back, reconnect the steering column and bolt down 2 seats. I also need to swap my gauges over and then it will road ready:) Here's some pics before the batteries died:

haha I dunno, a lot seems to have changed including my ability to drive. The exhaust sounds louder, the speedo bounces now, the car spins 3rd gear a bit now, the bov tone did change, I don't think it got quieter, I think it just lost some of the chirp which is more noticeable. Things that didn't change: I still suck at driving, my car still needs the 555's and bikirom, and I still drive like a dip shit sometimes. I'm working on bikirom right now I picked up a spare ecu so I could work on one and still drive my car, so hopefully in a couple weeks I will get to tuning... maybe hours at work are killing me now that I have a real job.
