Heard that the 34 Coupe of Jade's ran an 8.62. Was wondering if anyone else knew any more details.

Last time I saw him at the track (4 weeks ago), it was running low 9's. That is quite the big jump in ET. Was just wondering the details because we haven't seen him out since then.

An awesome ET, that is for sure!

Hope he can make it out to the "Annual Nitro Extraveganza."

I believe he ran a 9.002@162 or so with a shitty 1.72 60ft spinning about 4 weeks ago. So if he got the car to hook coming out of the hole then a 8.62 sounds about right. That is fucking moving out fast!!!! Congrats Jade!!!

I hope he does make it out also. Whats this Annual bullshit? As far as I know the World Finals is the longest running event in racing? I might be wrong but I read that shit online sometime ago.. 44th would be this year.. Maybe then if it is a new event (Annual Nitro Extravaganza) the old event (AHRA World Finals) would be mentioned on ESPN as done with..

The AHRA World Finals was the 2nd longest running motorsports event behind the US Nationals. Not that Mr. Moe has been behind the event all those years, but has since the 70's. I think the 'new' name for the event fits much better, never have I seen it to be anything close to the "World Finals". Its simply a gathering of low(er) budget A FUEL cars good for some mid 5 second passes.....much better description than the 'old' name.??

Pretty sure it was before that. He was telling people what it runs at the Cops for Kids car show downtown last Wednesday. I haven't seen him out since he was running 9's @ 155-156, that is why I was wondering when and where it happened.

Oh that explains it. I have been out there a lot this year and haven't seen it?
