Driving me nuts!

The squealing coming from the front of my car is driving me INSANE! I have been trying to figure out where it is coming from for many months. Chilton's hasn't told me anything, internet has been no use and (of course) Les Schwab says it has nothing to do with the brakes though I am almost positive it does!

It is NOT my belt....just had a new one put in very recently...

I am convinced it has something to do with the breaking mechanism. It only squeaks when the car is going down the road. When I brake, it STOPS.

Can someone be so kind to specifically tell me ALL the parts that are moving/in action in the front axel when a car is going down the road? Yes, I know the wheel and tire are in motion ha ha but, what else?

p.s. My car is loving every minute in AZ.....high 90's in the Fall my car loves to "pop" oooh exhaust hee hee

That is the point DUMBASS! You DON'T know what is wrong. Perhaps you should have been an actress instead of a teacher since you always seem to pretend to be something you aren't.

Here is some free advice for you since you are so worried about your image (you might want to hit a gym for that matter if you truely are worried):

Take your car to a few different shops and get their opinion. Tell them straight up what your car is doing and that you are going around to different shops to get opinions on what the problem is. One, they won't treat you like a dumbass bitch who thinks she knows her shit because she read it somewhere on the internet. Two, they will be nice to you because they are going to try and earn your business. If they don't, then move on to the next shop.

Also, you might want to ask to speak to a mechanic rather than a sales/counter person. The mechanic, who does this for a living, will likely know better then counter guy who gets paid half as much.

God I wish they would teach common sense in schools.

Rather than going into a shop and spouting off this and that like you know exactly what is wrong with the car, just take it to a few different shops and see what they all say (engage active listening skill at this point). If multiple shops all come to the same conclusion on your problem then there ya go. Often times the less you say is better meaning, don't say you're going to 39 different shops and that you're just comparing. All that you need to say is that your car is making a wierd noise and you need it diagnosed. From there use some observation skills and compare one shop to another in your mind and you will be able to tell which shop(s) are more honest and will give you better service.
