I was having a wierd bogging issue in between 1st and 2nd. I later found out that my Alky injection controler knob somehow got turned down to kick on at 1psi of boost. At first i was kind of dissapointed and puzzled b/c the trap seemed lower than expected but after looking over the time slip i THINK the 1/8 MPH seems pretty healthy. So the knob has been turned back to where its supposed to be and the bogging issues have been resolved, i'll be heading back out august 18th.

Are you logging with anything?

Logging... whats that? :)

No, i read spark plugs and keep my eye on WB when i street tune. CROME is the software i use and i just havt got around to getting the cable to datalog. Ive been toying with rom editors since 03, ive never used a datalogger, lets just say i know P28 maps like the back of hand.

The issue was that the controler was probably bumped when i was dicking around with my WB and set the initial alky spray at 1psi. Check the vid, i was having one hell of a time doing 2nd gear burnouts.

I still need to dial in the 2 step and experiment with tire pressure somemore.

Wow i feel special, first time ive been officially called out. Woo...hoo... Yeah, i'll be out there all day/night again August 18th.

1.7 - 1.8 60fts are achievable for the average Joe, since i'm slower than the average Joe i'll be happy with anything that is better than 2.2 60ft. :)

Once i get tire pressure and the 2 step really dialed in my guess is 1.8?

My cousin took the vid so he'll have to edit it and post it up. YO EARNEST IF YOU ARE READING THIS POST UP THE ECLIPSE/SUPRA RACE FOR THIS YOUNG MAN.

since i'm slower than the average Joe i'll be happy with anything that is better than 2.2 60ft. :)

I damn near live by that rule...??For what ever reasion I've been getting slower everytime I goto the track.??Last year I was running consitent 1.8's.??The first of this season I was 1.9-2.0.??Now I'm 2.1ish.??It must be my 3 blown shocks and almost bald stock tires :)

Edit: Mostly, the reason I want to see that race is because he walked passed me at the end, but don't remember where on the track he over took me, and how far be beat me by.

Good video.

2.02 60' on slicks? What's the deal with that?

I hope to see you on the 18th man. Maybe we can run eachother. Although you trap a whole 12mph more than me so I know who is going to win, unless I nail like a 1.4 60' haha.

yeah... i had my wideband mounted on the steering column along with my alky controler and i think it bumped the alky controler and set it to come on at 1psi of boost. All day i couldn't figure out why it would bog so bad, i thought maybe it was the slicks or heat. I was totally stumped, then I finally figured it out while i was driving home from school on monday. :(

I think the ET slip kind of says something goofy is going on.... look at the 1/8 MPH, 90MPH! So i'm confident its got a lot more in her. Now i'm just toying around with 2 step and tire pressure. I also feel that it should also be trapping a higher MPH for the dyno'd HP, But then again its a totally new tune since dyno day.

You and my cousin would be a good race, hes got the hatch in the vid, b20/vtec. he runs consistent 13.4s in Seattle.
