So I decided to replace the valvecover gaskets because I was sick of having a lake of oil in the spark plug valley. While I was at it, I decided to clean & paint the valvecovers, change the plugs one heat level colder (from 6 series to 7), and toss in my new NGK 9mm plug wires.
In the process I discovered my BOV is toast, and the upper IC hosing (not piping) is starting to go. SOOOOOOOOO....
naturally Ill just have to order some ceramic coated IC piping, and a decent BOV!!!!!!!!!! :D
Heres some pics after the ghetto-fab painting:

Looks good. Thought you were trying to get rid of it though? Seen an add on Craigslist once or twice and kind of thought it might be you.
Just build that bitch! :)

I did decide to keep it and build it instead. I demand a rematch against the orange TA this spring...

lol, I didn't think I raced you in it? Thought it was the GTP? Could be wrong, or maybe my dad raced you. Either way that should work, I might muster up enough money to throw on some headers or something from the GTP's turbo fund. ;)

Agreed...you do understand that ceramic coating is used to to keep heat IN. Last I checked you really dont want heat in your intercooler piping.

Depends on where the pipe runs. Under hood temps may be hotter than the air in the pipe.

UICP on Supra goes right over the turbo. Ceramic helps keep the turbo heat out

And Jaime, the paint I used was ceramic Caliper Paint so it should hold up. Well at least it did on my last Supra...
Ended up snagging an RFL to replace my blown stocker for 25 bucks locally!!! *woot!
