Oh yes. Whether its a supra or dsm... its all an upgrade from my cavalier.

Even though the cavy has ninja-like stealth abilities, it doesn't have turbo-sexiness

Holy a shit, a 12 second supra? Judging by the typical supra power-to-timeslip ratio, it must be in the 5000hp range!

Id say his car is 400 at the most. He's still on stock fuel system. :) In yo face DSM biatch.

...I didn't know I was in the closet about loving Supras....I love Toyotas in general.

I thought he had a mkiii fuel pump??

It's good to hear it's holding up good...I think he'll need to worry about the tranny though, needs to go with a R154

My coworkers MKII 2JZ project is slowly coming along...if the track is still there we'll see it out.

Thanks everyone for looking but i sold the car one week after i posted it on here. I dont come on here very much. It was a sad moment for me but i needed something better on gas. So i had to sell it. I had plans to swap in either a 1jz or a 2jz...if i would have found one of those motors, i'd still have the supra.

Hopefully the new 2008 Supra is just as good or better......maybe you guys will see me in one of them in the future!

umm...you ever look? Everywhere...get a front clip for under $3000 and it's everything you need. Basicaly unbolt the cradle from the clip and put it in yours...swap over the anscilleries (IC piping, wiring etc.)

We won't see you in a 2008 Supra thats for sure...we'll see what happens in 2010 or so. I expect the Volta to come out before the Supra ever returns :(

Closest you can get is the IS-F

Its pathetic when people try to say that new hybrid is the new Supra.

I just went to Toyota Cars, Trucks, SUVs & Accessories (http://www.toyota.com) and I feel like I am going to throw up.

Econoboxes a-plenty and minivans galore! Where is the Supra in "Upcoming Vehicles"? Instead I am greeted with the "All-new VENZA!"

Isn't that one of the things the doc checks, on girls, when they go to the OB-GYN?

"Yes ma'am, your Venza scrape was negative for cooties so that's good news. Now let's head over to smash your boobs into pancakes, in the mammagram."

I threw up in my mouth a little when I was looking at the Crayola or whatever it's called. With gas prices what they are, they'll bring back the Starlet before the Supra.

Gsolo
02-22-2008, 04:50 PM
I wish we would get the Starlet again...although I want the KP61 that we got stateside...hard to find :(

The problem with gas mileage is they keep making the cars heavier...the new Corolla is like 3300 lbs with a 1.8 4cylinder.

We all agree that Toyota is going overboard on the SUV thing

And inside word is that Toyota wants to do the Hybrid sports car, usually what toyota wants toyota does

I'd like to see them put out a serious, high performance hybrid sports coupe. Like... Infiniti? is doing.... Lexus! 438 horsepower 5.0l V8 hybrid.
LS Hybrid | Overview (http://www.lexus.com/models/LSh/)

There's a hybrid I can get behind... and pull it's hair.

Gimme a 400hp hybrid Supra and I'll make up for the hydrocarbons I don't burn as fuel with the ones I burn as tires. It all evens out.

"If you buy me one, I promise to be good. Well, I'd better get all the "being good" out of my system before I get it. Cuz frankly, after? Pfeh."

Oops, I just looked back. It's $104,000, AWD and gets 20 MPG. LOL! So much for hybridity, in *my* near future. For $104K, it had better wash itself, take the dog for a walk and manufacture the drugs I would need to be selling to afford it.

LOL! And the Venza... I looked it up and like most car names, it is not an actual thing. Like a Verizon or an Adelphia. Almost a real word.

Venza is not right for all people. Ask your doctor if Venza is right for you. If you have a weakend immune system from Leukemia, Hepatitis or advanced HIV disease, you should not own a Venza. A simple test, for liver function is needed before owning a Venza. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle Venzas.

If your Venza gives you an erection lasting more than four hours, see your doctor as this is a sign of a serious medical condition.

Pff, right. If I had an erection for more than four hours, my GIRLFRIEND would need to see her doctor, not me. And I'm pretty sure her doctor is not available at midnight on Friday.

"VENZA" sounds like a preventative allergy medicine or something.

Gsolo

usually Toyota uses names that have some kind of meaning or reference one way or another be it a different language or culture or mythology.

But I have yet to hear of any other refernce for "Venza"

yeah. i have looked for those motor swaps. even thought about a clip also...are you serious about getting a front clip for under $3000???? is that price with shipping or w/o shipping? i think with the price of shipping these days, you'll probably be looking at around an extra $1000-$1500 just to ship the front clip to a residential area

maybe i'd have better luck finding a turbo MK4 instead of an 2008 supra...you think?

Worst case...a fully complete front clip for like 2800 and shipping shouldn't be more then 450

Or just get the engine tranny ecu wiring...i've seen 1600 to 2000...shipping is usually less than 400 for that

to find it go to seattle's craigslist and search for "SUPRA"
or you can try to copy and paste this link
seattle.craigslist.org/skc/car/605215323.html

just tell him that you know the guy that sold it to him and you just might get it for what he paid me for it... it sure was not $5500!!!

just go back to page 1 and click on the MSN webpictures link for my pictures
if i had the money and can afford the gas for it i would probably buy it back.....but to wonder i'm also paying on gas for my b16 civic and my 03 yukon...hmmmm
