Ok, so I'm pretty sure that we've got this all figured out- August 13th at around 3pm at the Clarke Park on Garland and Division- I think that anyone whos going should post here so its not as confusing as the other thread, and any questions about it should either be PMd to VWLover or posted on the other thread regarding this topic.

OK Well I spokane with Parks and Rec today and made a reservation from 3pm till dark (10:00). So there will be another group of people there also but I'm sure there won't be any problems as it is a big park. I have the plates and cups, napkins and plastic sporks. LOL, I will be bringing hamburgers and some sort of salad and chips. They said no drinking in the park ( what she said was keep it in cups) and not to leave the garbage of drinking. So we may have to save that for later...So if your planning on bringing a dish let me know so there is not to much of one thing. And a body count so there is enouph food for everyone. Thanks

I grew up at that park and I dont remember there ever being BBQ pits there. If there are they have been put in within the last couple years and there are probably only 2 in whole park. Most of the park is baseball field and then there is a good sized pavillion toward the north end. There is lots of parking though. Hell there is a KFC 15 yards away why need to BBQ any way. haha

Maybe at that time it was the fastest, but theres plenty of others out there that will clean my clock. I would love to up the boost another 4-6 psi and put some race gas in before the years over. I'll probably be doing a Saturday here in the near future.

stock 350Z's aren't made for speed. They do handle alright. Too bad Glen and Jay aren't still around to tell you about not wanting to race the crapaier hehehe.

A stock STI would not be a fair race of a stock Z.

I've never ridden in one or raced one so I have no idea how fast they are. I work with a guy who claims they are faster than STI's so I've always been curious.

I'd like to race an STI next time around at the track. I think I've got enough power to catch up after the 60ft so it might be close.

Not to dawg on the 350Z because I think it's a hella tight ride, but it lacks in performance due to horsepower to weight...however it does sling that weight around on the autocross blacktop pretty descent (nothing spectacular though).

Definitly a great pick for a show car. Can definitly make them look sick however would take quite a bit of engine work and boost to get her running respectable times for expensive of car.

I would have spent a little extra and got a base model c6 corvette if it were me /shrug.

you can get a 350z for less than $30,000. you can't get a corvette for anywhere near that cheap, so that's a poor comparison.

Anything's possible, one of the hahn racecraft show cavaliers runs low 12's on street tires and weighs 3800 lbs due to fiberglass an audio visual LOL
