Boy you bimmer guys are nuts. I'm bumming in a 86 325 for a week or two and that thing is a freaking handfull above 80mph. little sucker takes every pebble on the road and turns it into a boulder. I feel like I have to fight every variance on the road. Its a fun little car but boy do you have to work to drive it at high speed.

its a weird combo of mushy comfort and resonsiveness to the point I'd call it finiky. These cars have a big following with the open road guys and it is fun to drive but man would you have to put money into it to get it right. Good thing its just a loner.

Get a little wider tires and that will go bye bye. More sidewall flex will make all the difference.

Yup...Bimmers are known for their top end stability even in that age of cars. The control arm bushings are probably shot all to hell...

You'd be surprised what 500-1000 can do for handling in those things :D

I would have to say my 528 is probably the best feeling car I have ever been in over 80mph. The problem I have with mine at that speed is I dont realize how darn fast im going. one minute im doing 70 and the next i look down and im crusing over 100. to darn easy to speed.
