Alright, as some of you know i got in a wreck a couple weeks ago in my 1999 Pontiass Grandma (lol), well long story shor - they totaled the car and i got a nice settlement check. So this is the car that i ended up getting out of the deal.

i'm kinda curious what the difference is between the 03 and 06 srt-4 front ends? i looked up some pix on google and they looked the same but as usual prolly wrong. Besides that it looks prety cool few weeks ago i had a guy pull on me in his srt-4 when i was in my jeep it was freaking halarious those things move like heck!

just out of curiosity how much did you pick it up for? That's probably will take away budget money from restoring that Z of yours. I guess you'll run into my problem of putting money elsewhere but my Charger so it takes me very long to get all the parts and actually do work on it.

Well it actually worked out really well... i paid 120/m for my car payment for the grand am and about 150/m insurance, and with this car its 140/m payment and 175/m insurance...so its really not taking that much away from the z. I picked up the car for 11800, and i think i got a smokin deal. i am really happy.

and the z is comin along. After my friend is done restoring his 66 gto im gunna haul my car over to his house and well get that shit done quick.. im really excited for that as well. I really dont need to put too much more into the car...maybe about 1k for cosmetics...but the motor and all that shit is a whole different story...lol.

i remember hearing that srt4 dynoed at like 280whp or something like that...also heard when the nitrous gets sprayed on to the intercooler the intake sucks some of it in thats why it made 280 with B/C...too bad that model didnt come with lsd! =p

$150 for paint? What kind of paint are you spraying on there, seems to be very low for a gallon of paint and clear, hardener, reducer.

Where r u gettting your paint and who sells it???? My clear with the activator sells for 185 for 2 sprayable gallons and thats my price, cheap and it's a killer product. Just base alone even in an omni wich is cheap will run you anywhere from 200 to 500 depending on what you want. if I remember right you wanted a peral orange.......not so cheap!!! To do it right and on the cheap side you will be looking at 800 to 1,000 in just materials alone.

My DBC Pearl Orange ran me just shy of 400/gallon fyi... Thats just the basecoat...

Thats before you factor hardener, thinner, not to mention the whole clearcoat/thinner/catalyst.....

Where r u gettting your paint and who sells it???? My clear with the activator sells for 185 for 2 sprayable gallons and thats my price, cheap and it's a killer product. Just base alone even in an omni wich is cheap will run you anywhere from 200 to 500 depending on what you want. if I remember right you wanted a peral orange.......not so cheap!!! oh no...no pearl.. i was at the paint store on sprague downtown and was looking at either the Ford Competition Orange, or the chevy version of it. Solid orange ftw! and it was just for the base coat 1 gallon...

1) Stock boost on those cars is 12psi, ive only seen 15.18 for about a 1/4 of a second...

2) nitrous lines are ran, nothing has ever been hooked up or used on the car.

I've been lookin into a turbo upgrade kit and tuning in the spring.. :)

All the lines are ran for everything, but its never been used. Im not the one who installed it. Its very clean and nice looking. Its functional, just not what i want. Im ripping all the shit out anyways and selling it to get a 60trim for it.
