I am, but when is the bigger question. I think by this time next year id like to be throwin down 600+hp which should be more than enough to get me into the 10's. I need another Walbro, a bottom end and the cute little Borg Warner S366 turbo to get in place. BTW, FMIC is now in place and set to go.

i gotta say fwd and four cylinders in the 10's is quite the acheivment. but for a third of the money i can do it in a v-8 rwd. my old freind has a low 11 sec nissan or did, but that was the weirdest feeling out of the hole. it accually made me giggle a little like when i first launched hard on a slick tire. crazy how differnt they are.

kinda i guess, it was so funny, kinda like if you were to put nos on a riding lawn mower and mow the lawn...........anybody that has used slicks knows how it felt the first time----its a wild g-force feeling. p.s. the nissan was on slicks also.

Well, I am sure that you are referring to fwd and possibly street legal imports, but I ran 9's in my race bug several years ago. When I bring it back out (hopefully this year!) I will be shooting for 8’s!

thats a good point. i've only been in the pits for fnsr but a lot of the cars they let run looked like they were about to fall apart, let alone had any safety equipment on the faster cars. But i figure if you have the money to get in the 10's you have the money to get safety equiptment so you dont.. idk die?

yeah it really sucks that we lost our track because i had money that was planned on other modifications on my car, now that money is all going into making the car legal for all tracks. Its really something that should be done first before you get that far but in know im not the only one who tends to spend the money on more horse power before safety. Oh well it needs to be done so now i have a reason to complete it. I still think that we are bound to get another track here after the street racing gets out of control. after one year of racing tickets the state should have plenty of money to fund a new track. I have some friends who are sheriffs and deputies and most of them say (on the record of course) that there will be no slack for street racing "which there shouldnt be" esp for people who rip 120mph down division. but most of the ones i talked to said they have been there and done it so. Basically what i got from it was if your on some country road in the middle of no where and you have not seen a car for over 30 min, chances are the cops will just scatter everyone if caught. Dont take that as the way it will be but thats just what i gathered from it. who knows but i hope they get there stuff together cause this sucks.
