Yes, the point of drifting is sliding, and an AWD is built to not slide. I don't think the combo is good except for snow as mentioned.

well thats not exactly true there have been quite a few awd drift cars although they have been skylines and i know thats a completly different class of car but i was just wondering if anyone had seen or heard of a drift dsm

AWD Skylines will put 80% power to the rear which you can drift with better than 50/50

And the RB25DET is RWD only....AWD was just the RB26DETT, which in turn was only used for AWD

And a side note if no one knew, the EVO in F&F3 was converted to RWD...which is a retarded waste of money

And IF I had to guess...some of the drifting skylines might have been someone converting and swapping a rb26 into GTS-T and rebadging as GTR.....or converting a GTR to GTS specs....

anyhow...enough of the Skylines, I want one :( Theres a nice GTR on ebay right now its yellow.....

To me a good drift car would be AE86, S13/14, FC3S....If you wanna start rolling in the money then a JZXE10, JZZ30, FD3S, JZX100
