house music is mindless beats repeated over and over and over again. A lot doesn't even have words...

No wonder you need drugs to like the stuff.

Allelfilize likes it. When I was in highschool, rave music was called "Industrial". Mindless, repetitive music to bounce up and down to, for hours, on your favorite blend of alcohol and drugs.

Man I love when people talk about music they know nothing about LOL

Plenty of house has words, and no its not the same beat over and over, like say rap;) There are all kinds of house music like electro, progressive, deep, funky, disco, vocal.....ect.

Also house is one of the most popular forms of electronic music, favored by more clubs and radio stations then some other styles. Go to a major club in a big city or another country and chances are you will hear house. Drugs have nothing to do with liking house....

If you want to hear some kinds of house check out junorecords.com they have house split up into its major catigories.

Political ads were #2 I think. That's why I try "hard" not to watch them.

I can almost feel it happening. Like sadly, letting the air, slowly out of a balloon animal.

House music is the face of ED.

Well, Jason, you are actually a fan of this kind of music. Of course your going to say its not repetitive but I think it is. I also think rap is repetitive beyond tolerance for me. I listen to mainly hard rock/metal and I accept that it sounds like screaming to a lot of people and they don't even listen to the instruments or beats that I love. its just a matter of taste for people. If you locked me in a room with trance or house music played over and over again, I would probably chew off my fingers and shove them so far in my ears that they touch each other.

reminds me of that "Hey There Delilah" parody .... "the only food i see....is attached to me....."

I hope you never come to that state of existence, jamie!

Where did the original spammer go?

Lisa is in Israel right now so I have nothing to occupy my time but pining and going on a Spam hunt.

:kenny:

I'll practice rocking back and forth, to house music, with bugged eyes, like an emo.

I HAD a roommate that listened to every kind of electro music. All freaking night.
So one night I pulled out a 80's easy listening music, you know the kind, it makes elevator music sound awesome, put it in his cd player and superglued it shut, then I put batteries in it and super glued the hatch shut, then I removed all of his buttons, I put the cd on a loop and left for the weekend.
he got the point. It took him an hour to get it to stop because he didn't want to break it.
