Thanks Brian. Your truck is sick! Everybody was saying how your poor kid will never drive anything slow. We felt sad for him. I think about your truck now, every time I turn onto Barker, heading back home, since you are in the other direction by about half a mile.

Why does everyone pick Hooters? Their food is awful and the "scenery" is really nothing special.

Anyway, Im down for a spring meet....Something like May 17th or 31st. Those are the weekends before and after Memorial Day. im sure it wont work for everyone, but we should still be able to get a good group together.

That's right, there is a beach. It's just under a couple inches of snow right now, so I forget it's there.

Clearwater runs from Lewiston to Kooskia, then it splits into the South Fork and Middle Fork, then when you get to Three Rivers it splits into the Selway and Lochsa, so about 100 miles or so from Lewiston :) or 220+ miles from here.

Nice thing about Higgins is if we wanted to do a cruise then leaving from there as a group and maybe looping through downtown would be easy. I rented the top of the point before. They open that access road all the way to the top. Up there is a volley ball court, bbq's, tables and even a power hookup. I rented it a few years back but it was only $50-60 for the day.

May 17th? Holy shit thats way too long from now. By then everyone will have their cars out and the "novelty" of being able to drive your nice car all the time will have worn off.

And to answer your question about Hooters, I just said there because it's the traditional car meet restaurant. On top of that it's easy for a huge group of people to be seated and eat, easy to get hoes to take pics on our cars, etc. etc.

I vote for we all meet at Marble's....that would work well for me.

Higgins is at the end the old highway that used to go around CDA lake, now it ends at a boat launch and the point. Same raod you take to get to the CDA Resorts golf course.



As far as a meet at my house, yes I am a bit shy and reclusive but I do BBQ with friends in the summer a lot. I have a decent back yard space and parking so if people really want to drive down here its possible.

I know that with gas prices and all I wont be driving to Moscow for a meet. And as for the date, late May will give plenty of people time to make arrangements to go. I know that most of my April weekends are already full, but...I probably wont show up anyway.

lol you just dont even know dude... The grill is my bitch. Although my place wouldnt be able to take everyone, the park on division & garland would work great. Theres a nice big parking lot that way everyone could pull right up to the grass. Theres tons of parking spots for everyones cars. It's easy to find, youd be able to see everyones rigs right off Division so the thing could turn into a small show & shine if we wanted. Ive got an ok bbq I can bring, though if anyone wants to contribute a better one, that would be good.
