Well i'm looking for a head off a 6bolt dsm complete and in good condition. or a good place to replace some lifters?
ok.. well I need some dsm owners/ mechanics opinions. I've read that early dsms have small oil passeges for the lifters therefore they get lifter tick, and they dont need to be replaced as its not hurting the motor. I've read that unless a lifter has collapsed it doesnt need to be replaced, unless its so annoying you cant stand it, then you might get them cleaned.. its all in this article.. I'm wondering if thats true. can you use motor cleaner in a turbo car or will it harm the turbo in some way? also will motor cleaner clean out the lifter passeges?
