Hell Yeah! I'm just waiting for the new fuel system to get put in and then I'm off to drive 1,000 miles for the break in. I will be at FNSR June 30th and ready to race. Does anyone know if SRP requires a roll cage once you break in the 10's? Not that I will but one could always hope.lol

hehe, it woudln't be much of a race, I can't launch for crap, although i'm hitting 140 at the end of the 1/4. I can't wait to see what it runs now that i've got an intake kit and engine mangement all tuned:)

Does anyone know if SRP requires a roll cage once you break in the 10's? Not that I will but one could always hope.lol

I believe you need a cage for 11.49 and faster, but if they dont have lights on friday night no one will know.

If you plan on going that fast I highly suggest a cage...for your own safety.

I was running well into the 11's this Saturday and they didnt even say anything about a helmet. I dont think they are to safety concerned out there.

MY buddie has been storeing his 05 GSXR 750 in my garrage for a couple months. Things pretty pimp. Had some kind of stearing stabiliser, some fucking comander watcha' majig piggyback controler, new intake, carbon fiber exhaust. Fucking bike had more $$ in it then I bought my car for. Cool bike. I don't know shit about bikes though..

RnR Racing is in San Diego. They fabricate there own manifolds. I don't think they work on Honda's though. Oh yes, it will be fun!

97GSX, I work in Los Angeles and stay in a hotel. It would be a bit difficult to work on in the parking lot. The joys of working on the road.lol

I'm supposed to pick the car up Monday afternoon. Once I put some miles on the engine I will have the aem tuned on the awd dyno. I think they are going to do a 91 octane, 100 octane, and a C16 tune. I sure hope I make it to FNSR this coming friday.

I have a RRE clutch and a 6 puck sprung hub. Nothing else has been upgraded in the drivetrain. I hope the stock drivetrain holds up until this winter. That is when I'm going to get a sheppard transmission, better clutch, stronger axles.

Well I didn't get the car back Monday. Now it should be done Wednesday night. Doesn't look like I will make it to FNSR on the 30th. I will be there on the 7th of July. I agree!**Because when I'm at the track racing, your rig will be up on that hoist broken, just like the pic!**

You'll have so damn much HP that ol' yeller's engine is gunna tear up the rest of the car. She'll spend most of her first days getting fixed instead of racin'.**

That is, of course, until the rest of her is done up bulletproof here in the near future!:D**Good times.

I finally got my car at 10 pm Wednesday. All I can say is OMG!!! I can't wait for 1,000 miles and to be fully tuned. The fuel system is going to take some getting used to. The aeromotive pump is very loud. Well, I guess I will see you on the 7th.

I have been in Cd'a the last two weeks. The evo is still in San Diego waiting for me to put 1,000 miles on the engine and then Tuning Technologies is going to tune and dyno the car. Once that is done I will bring the car back to Cd'a.
The last two weekends I have been at SRP with the 06 Chevy Duramax truck. With a few simple mods the diesel was running 14.5's at 92mph. Not to bad for a truck that wieghs in over 7,500 pounds. Here is one of the timeslips.

Well I just got the evo back from Tuning Technologies. Pump gas (91 octane) tune went good. 469hp on 23psi. Race tune (C16) was a different story. For starters Summit Racing sent me a 3.5 bar map sensor not the 5 bar that I ordered. Then my biggest problem was the MSD ignition. It works good at WOT but that is it! 580hp on 30psi. The good news is I'm going to start my drive back to Idaho at 3am and I will be racing on the 18th.

Dude, that car is bad ass. Your 12.02 run would have been a 10 if you'd hit the launch. It looked to me like you were shifting a lot better, but learning to launch that beast is going to suck lol. Good luck with it in the future.

The 11.6 was with the 5500 2 step and the 11.0 was with the 2 step @ 6500. Thanks for your help friday night. I really need to learn the basics with the AEM ems.

I went to the 2 step rev limiter tab. Once you raise the limiter you must hit enter. Thats all there was to it.
