I recently accepted a new job offer to sub contract to the army and supervise the repair and maintenance of their vehichles. It was an offer I couldn't refuse. Big drawback is I will be gone for 4 months at a time to IRAQ. Yep, I'm going to a war zone. Did I mention that 120' F in the daytime is the average temperature. Not that I wouldn't mind losing a few hundred pounds. I'll be getting "deployed" in a couple weeks.
With the economy the way it is, Gas going thru the ceiling and just being able to cover my bill's the idea of being debt free in 6 months sounded pretty good. And I'll be able to do most of the remodeling to my house I want to get done.
Oh, did I mention I already checked into an all Aluminum 427 for my car? Dunno, $22k for a new engine might be pushing it.
With all this I'm gonna sell some stuff for cheap just to let it go.
