It was a fun show. Had my car out there today with the Featherlite trailers. Lots of purdy cars and some pretty awesome race cars.
Heard that ol Cuda Jeff issued a challenge for my car. Hook up a trailer to my car, then he'll race me. Reason being... my car weighs 2500 lbs and his weighs 4500 lbs. I'll have to pass on the challenge since I don't have a hitch. Also since his "estimates" are WEIGH (pun intended) off.
If anyone here knows Jeff, let him know I have some corner scales available if he cares to educate himself on what both cars weigh since I know he is about 1000 lbs off on my weight and I'd bet money he is close to that far off for his guess of what his car weighs.

I filmed the Cuda race Metz S-10 at the extravaganza, also filmed Gregs car a little.. weight may be a small factor in the race, but would make a decent "Pinks"..
I didnt make it to the show, long weekend..

Yeah looking at ole Pro Street's cuda, you sure can tell hes a body man. He doesnt even try to make his long block look nice even when showing it. Too bad he's never tried the nitrous Travis put on it three months ago. Pussy.

You're a Mopar guy. What do you think his car weighs?

The weights listed were taken from The Standard Catalog of American Cars 1945 - 1975" where they are listed as "factory shipping weight". So assume that the weights are for base models with no fuel.
1968
Plymouth Barracuda 2910
1969
Plymouth Barracuda 2899
1970
Plymouth AAR 'Cuda 3395
Plymouth 'Cuda 3395
1971
Plymouth 'Cuda 3475
1972
Plymouth 'Cuda 3330
1973
Plymouth 'Cuda 3235
1974
Plymouth 'Cuda 360 3300
Now with Mr. Larges' Cuda, an iron block 440, his massive estimated 130lb frame (ego weight would be considerably more), I'd be surprised at anything over 3600 pounds in race trim.

OK Greg, this is still bugging me. Last I heard the latest and best Jeff's done is a 12.1 on the current setup. Now even putting Rothman in as a driver, spraying 250 on it, its still only going to be in the deeper 10's. I say take him up on the trailor bet. I'll put down $100 and provide the hitch and open car hauler. At SRP it'd probably get teched right through as long as it has dual safety chains.

They let a trailer race last Friday...
that was metz's brother and that was the only way he was getting outta there w/o stopping the races so we could get him turned arround and outta the hot loop!

I figured out where Jeffs extra weight comes from!
He's got to be using at least two phone books to be able to see over the dashboard.
