That 240 is entirely too clean. You need to primer your trunk and hood and then kick a couple of dents into it and maybe pull a lug nut off each wheel and you can fit in with all the other 240 owners :p

ill probably go to the drifting events just to check them out... i dont think i would want to drift this car... well i have coilovers still that need to be put on but im going to wait till i get upper control arms so i dont have to much negitive camber. i plan on getting all the "hard" suspension parts... tension rods traction rods trailing arms... put an electric fan on it. rims once i find ones i like.. LSD sometime down the road... other than that just keepin it clean and running.

I've never heard of any AWD swaped silvias...not saying it isnt possible......

But I've seen a few that have had the RB26DETT swapped in but its a HUGE PITA....you've got to redo the oil pan and everything associated with it, the twin turbos don't clear the shock tower......in the end (IMO) you don't get much better than you could with a slightly warmed over RB25



And as this "drift bashing" or whatever thing that a couple of you are getting all butt hurt about....i think drifting is fun to do an watch.....i think retarded kids driving half assed pieces of crap around town trying to kill people is stupid.....or thinking that the tires making noise around a corner is drifting (going off of some pictures i've seen lately) And a half assed piece of crap can be the primered beat up 240 with a KA24E running on 3 cylinders or a 5.0 Mustang or an AE86 or whatever.......I think the manner in which you drive a car and the condition the car is in reflects on what kind of person you are. I dont go Fast and Furious Tokyo style in my crappy Civic cause I'm not a retarded queer...but I can see a very good running 240 that can ACTUALLY get sideways has potential AND that person isn't completely retarded .....

in drifting...having a nice car is not much of a discussion....if your gonna start drifting....just get ready for "whatever goes goes!" that is the deal....its fun either way....cause you learn from your mistakes.....but on the streets is a different story, thats just something that is up to the driver and the consequences behind that scene ...but on the track you learn alot faster then the street...but i will post up if there will be a drift event this weekend due to there is no VP to run it but i will update the spokane forum...

engine is stock 220hp, but i will be adding FMIC and exhaust and from reading in magazines that should bump it up to maybe 250hp. we will see.

sounds like the pump....check fluid level. to bleed you just move the wheel back and forth while refilling what goes down. and could be that the pump is bad too

well i dont think its the pump anymore.... no more noise. but when i was pulling out the original motor it kind of hit one of the small power steering lines and pinched it a little and it pulses when i turn the wheel so i think it might be that....
