Why are we paying double over the coaster classic guys. I have been at this show almost every year and the fee has steadily went up. Whereas the coaster classic has stayed the same. Can you say why that is? We have just as much a draw for the park as the older cars. Most of us bring our kids and families to spend money there (at the park). So why are the old timers more valued than us? I'm not being disrespectful but I don't think this is fair.... Thanks for your time.

The older show does not have DJs coming. I think some of it is the expense to get them there...

Well the price is the same as last year and we have more awards. Each year when the price rises its because we added more for you. Last year it was more awards, domestic catigories and NCCA sanctioning.
But if you think its the same as the classics then consider this.....
We offer 3 times the awards then the classic show, plus you get a trophy instead of a little dash thing.

In addition to all extra awards we have sanctioned judging by the NCCA. You can see how they will judge you by their forms online and can even see your score later. They are non-biased, nobody is from the area and they are all trained to judge cars. This is the only NCCA sanctioned event in the Northwest other then Hot Import Nights in Seattle. This event is worth 2x points if you are an NCCA member.
More info at: http://www.nationalcustomcarassociation.com/
We have a full DJ lineup with headliners for entertainment.
But most importantly this is the CHEAPEST show of its kind for entry. HIN or just about any other real show costs at least $50 to enter a car. You may get a guest in but thats it. No theme park, no water park....just sit by your car and look at whats there until awards. We offer by far the best value of ANY show in the NW, I know...I go to all the other ones. If you know of a better deal by all means let me know*shrugs* Anytime we raise the price its to give you more at the show, not just to raise it for fun.

Come on AWD, this is hands down the best show in the NW. I would pay $50-$60 with out question to come to this event. Cars, themepark, ladies with swimsuits. What more could you ask for?

For your wife not to be there? LOL! How can you ogle a swimsuit, properly and appreciate it's form, function, lines and well matched colors, if your wife/girlfriend is there glaring at you and thinking you are looking at the *contents*?
Women just don't understand a man's interest in aesthetically pleasing summer/swim garments for the opposite sex.

Sounds fair enough to me...Thanks for the explanation. Does sound like you guys are putting on quite a bit more now that you've explained it. And "we" as a family do enjoy it more and than regular shows just because of all the attractions..ie. roller coasters, water park, etc. that entertain the whole family. Thanks.

No problem, trust me we try to give more value each year to attendees. If you do see a price change then we added something more to the show.
The new coaster will be done for this event as well=)

all depending on the size of the wood :)

Just got back!
Had a fun day at the park.
Good job marble.
I was a little surprised that those of us with real JDM cars at the event were beat out by a USDM car for "Best JDM" but I'm sure there were good reasons.
Maybe they didn't see my steering wheel on the "wrong" side ;)
Or there was the clean JDM Civic Type R that had a nice mod list that went on for days.
Also found it kind of funny that the announcer on stage had to ask what "JDM" ment.
Either way, I had a fun time and appreciate you taking the time to put it on each year.

Not really bitter.
Just surprised as stated in the first post.
How would you feel if a Honda with Z3 fenders and euro taillights took home a trophy for "Best Euro"?
I was expecting anything showing up today, just went for a nice day at the park with a bunch of cool cars.
Sorry to hear about the club participation trophy, it was a cool site seeing all of the BMW's roll in this morning. I really liked the orange/red e30 M3.

Thank you all for support the event once again. We had over 400 rides again and some of the best quality yet. Because of this I plan to go 5 deep on awards next year for both cars and truck/suv's. Also I am going to add a runner up award for the best makes. Thats 30 more awards total!
The show went very smooth and the park was extremely happy with everything. Even with more awards I hope we all dont lose sight of the most important aspect, this being a community event for us all to hang out and enjoy the love for motor vehicles that brings us together.
Thank you all again and I hope to see you all again soon!

I will consider that, do remeber that this started out as an Import only event. Over the years we kept seeing more and more domestics so I decided to add awards to show that we do apprechiate the support. At the same time I do have to try to stay true to what the shows roots are. I will speak with the NCCA guys and see what other sub catigories we can add for you guys without getting to focused on one group of domestics like just the LX guys.

Jason, I really enjoyed the show and all of you and your staff's hard work. There were a few speed bumps, but the show was very well put on and I just really appreciate that someone puts on a show of this magnitude.
I don't think this will stop anyone from attending, but I do know that the show being held so late in the year and the water park not being available to us was a bit of a dissapointment to some. I thought I was going to be disapointed about that but actually was not. I just enjoyed relaxing and talking with people, making new friends. I understand that this was initially an import show but I think sometimes these things can take on a life of its own. I figured that the truck/ suv people were definitely a minority but it does seem a little hard when the trucks, suvs, fullsize, minis, 2wd lowriders, and lifted 4x4's are all in the same category. But I also know its hard to break up those categories if we don't get enough of each to make a decent pool for each category. I also really love the neon part of the show and was a little dissapointed that we didn't get to do it. I brought a fog machine and other props for my truck for that part of the show. No biggie though. These are just suggestions, and if nothing changes for future Excellerators I will still be just as happy to attend and enjoy this event.
I did feel kinda bad for all the local cars that were extremely nice but got beat out by the cali club. Those guys really cleaned house. Those cars were definitely a higher caliber of show car.
Sorry I missed meeting some of you, (getawayinmoscow) but I was sitting under my blue canopy about 20' behind my truck for 80% of the time. My buddy that I always go to shows with walked right by me 3 times and never saw me back there either. I was a little on the lathargic side from lack of sleep :night:and I was also tethered to my wife and daughters valuables while they rode the rides. (So I didn't get to walk around as much as I wanted.)
I think before winter comes we should all get together for a few show and shines, or meets, have some bbq's or whatever. Just make the most of a short summer.....
Quemlin park here in post falls is really nice and has lots of bbq's, v-ball pits, hiking trails and swings for the kids. I also have a canoe and paddle boat that I could bring down if any of you are interested? (I just live 4 blocks away.)

Im glad you had a good time=) Imports and sport bikes communities always seem to get a bad rep but year after year we have shown that its not always the case. Everyone has been very respectful each year which lets us continue to do this event. Its always been a plce to hang out and have fun, so thanks to all that leave their beefs at the door.
redthunder1996-
The park didnt give me a date choice this year. Trust me when I say that I am pushing for an earlier date or at least a commitment for the water park to be open. Your awards are all being extended so there will be more love next year for the truck/suv community as well=)

Good show, the whole water park thing was a real mess. I don't think the park would of opened it if it was 85, they closed it for the year and drained the water. And as far as the awards go, if anyone is going to any show just to win a piece of plastic they are going for the wrong reasons. Its about supporting the shows , and the whole seen. I think we all need to broaden our show attendance, and go to all kinds of shows and not just stick to our little groups.
