Well after over 2 months of waiting I got my tranny and Cassel should be done with my motor tomorrow so it looks like the project could proceed this weekend hopefully get it started this weekend but I am not going to get my hopes up lol

I heard that from the grapevine that we call wives that it finally came in. ;)

What you don't know is that they "accidently" sent out a bad tranny they were going to repair instead of the new one you were hoping to get! *snicker*

Really though, might swing by this weekend and see some of the changes since last time, as long as I am not still painting the door for the wife's car that is. :(

Are you just fixing the scratch on the door or did something happen? Yeah we should be down there this weekend call first though I am not sure what my friends boss has going on this weekend if he is going to be there or not. Thats not real nice on the tranny comment ANDREW lol

Spraying another door. A week after the car was keyed in that spot I got hit by some dumb old drunk fucker on Maple. He locked up his brakes and I felt impact and there were scuffs from his bumper. He claimed he never made contact but the fiberglass in between the hinges for the door think otherwise. Its causing the door to sag prematurely and is scrapping up the rocker panel below it and the black cover in the door jam.

If I get ballsy enough will try to take care of the scratch. After my messing around with the door it would probably be even easier.

LOL how tall are you being that I am a short guy I had to weld the roll cage up way forward to be legal so its had for tall people to fit in the car. We can give it a try though

i remember meeting you and i know who you are I am not good at judging height to me everyone is tall lol i am a short bastard ya know.
6'2" we could probably make you fit if we take off the T-tops lol. However a bug off the forehead at 140mph might kind of hurt lol we'll see if you fit though

Picked up the motor from Cassel today so this weekend will hopefully be the weekend it gets to start for the first time in 3 years knock on wood. I will get a video of the start up and get it on here as soon as possible
