I once saw a comparison of what it looks like when you are going 195, in a stock car and someone passes you at 200. Then they take an Aries K, at 55MPH and pass it at 200.

The words "holy shit" simply do not come close to covering it.

Lol, thats awesome!! I've always wondered what that would be like too. Top fueler ran an 11.6 @ 88 mph lol. Love the .85 60' too. That poor little G6 shoulda ran waaaay better than 16.3 @ 88, but it wouldn't have mattered anyways obviously. Unless it was the base model and they lied about the 252 hp, then the time would be about right actually.

I'll never forget what that looked like, from the viewpoint of the Aries. The turn looked to be about a 1/4 mile away and the race car went past so fast I could never have told you what color it was.

Almost the instant it passed the Dodge, the racer was going around the turn and disappearing.

If it was an Aries K, it must have been in the late 70's, early 80's? I checked YouTube but to no avail.

One second of throttle? God that gives me ED. The top fueler had left the starting line completely, before the G6 had broken the second light, I think. That must be what it feels like to "hook up".
