If you are looking for a sleeper, this car is not for you. I had a group of sorority girls chase me on foot in this once and they finally caught me at a stoplight to ask what kind of car it was and to tell me it looked like sex on wheels. This could happen to you too. What happens next is optional.
This car has almost everything overhauled, replaced, etc. It is NOT perfect, or I would be asking $40k for it. It is NOT an original car. It is made to be as daily driveable as possible for a moderately powered muscle car. This thing is fun as hell to drive, gets looks EVERYWHERE, and brings me a smile whenever I take it out. It will be sad to see it go but it cannot come to Seattle with me due to financial reasons. Car is located in Spokane but can be shipped anywhere per buyer's request/payment.
Without further ado, here is the mod list (all mods have less than 3k miles, many are brand new):
Under the hood:
1.) S&S Built 10.5:1 Chevy 350, camel hump heads, 292 cam. They rate it at 380hp at the crank. ~3k miles since build, everything from the valves/springs down to the oil pump, water pump, etc.
2.) T5 5-speed transmission makes for a much more highway friendly tranny but still handles a lot of power
3.) Front disc brake conversion, no more front drums that never stop the car lol
4.) Quick ratio steering box (12.5 instead of 17+ of stock box, makes for a very responsive feel added with the brand new Saginaw chrome power steering pump).
5.) New chrome alternator
6.) Holley 750 carb, freshly tuned by a guy who started building 10 second pro-stock cars when he was 17, it runs AWESOME.
7.) New aluminum radiator
8.) Long tube headers (I think they are Summit Racing style, not super nice but better than log manifolds).
9.) New HEI GM distributor. New plugs, new plug wires. Car was stored over the winter and when I pulled it out of the garage this summer MANY gaskets were replaced such as valve cover gaskets, header gaskets, etc. If you want to buy a car that leaks, you had better look elsewhere, this one is TIGHT.
Exterior:
1.) Newer red metallic paint. Looks very nice, not perfect like a $8k paint job but this one is perfect for a car like this.
2.) Krager 17" wheels wrapped in newer low-profile Goodyear Eagle F1's. These alone makes the car look badass like it is going to eat children. IMO all muscle cars should be on big-er wheels with low profile rubber.
3.) Flip-up sunroof. This is aftermarket. Does not leak. A cool touch for a daily driver muscle car, but not original so it does not add value as a collector's item. But nothing else really makes this car a collector car, this is a driver's musclecar. Plus the ladies love it.
4.) Missing the "I" in "PONTIAC" on the trunk lid. I never tried very hard to find one. Probably an easy find but I never tried. I'll knock $5 off of the price for this if it bothers you.
5.) All glass looks great. No cracks, chips, etc.
6.) NO RUST
7.) All chrome looks GOOD
Interior:
1.) All new interior. Black tweed seats, new headliner.
2.) Carpet is good, fresh vacuum leaves it very presentable.
3.) Dash looks good, there is a Tachometer wired to the steering column that looks tacky but it is nice since stock there is no tach.
4.) Fuel gauge kind of works. If you are going empty, it will tell you. If you are full, it goes to about 3/4. So watch the mileage and you will be alright.
5.) One of the HVAC controls levers is broken. A super easy fix if you have the part. I do not have the part nor do I have the time to fix it. I think the lever controls the defrost function (off the top of my head since the car is 300 miles from me right now). I only brought it out of the garage on sunny days to drive it so this was never an issue.
6.) NO RUST
This car is NOT for the faint of heart. It will spin the tires through 3rd gear. Gets sideways with ease. Very controllable with the quick-ratio box. Throw a set of QA1 coilovers on up front and it would be a dream. It sounds freaking cool under wide open throttle as well.
That is all I can think of for now. Price is $12k FIRM. I gaurantee another one like this cannot be found. I'd like to charge $20k but it is not original enough. However, it is PERFECT for the guy who wants to drive his musclecar more than once a month, get tons of props from people, and know that he didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. And if you have to ask about MPG, then I will say it gets a million sMiles Per Gallon. No joke.
Thanks!
And more pictures!

Note that the chrome on the underside of the grille piece is reflecting the pavement below and NOT damaged. That is just how bling it is.

Pretty darn straight, even through the eyes of a Canon 10mm lens.

The signature Pontiac turn signals, one of the more beautiful things about these cars. Disregard the water droplets from the fresh wash I gave it today.

Barry Grant GT wooden steering wheel is one of the features of the interior. Those are NOT stains on the driver's seat, those are shadows from water droplets on the sunroof from the wash I gave it (I was in Spokane for less than 45 minutes today to get the pictures taken and went directly back to Seattle so time for drying was minimal).

What the dash of a '68 Firebird looks like, sans stereo. WOT is much cooler sounding than top 40 hits in this bad boy.

Again, those are not stains on the seat, they are shadows from droplets on the sunroof. Note the tweed/black seats AND headliner (no crappy ceiling pieces falling out of this beauty).

Ahhhhh, detroit muscle!

Just as good from the other side.

The Holley carb on top of the brand new intake manifold.

Mmmmmmm, looks like a brand new AGR 12.5:1 power steering box to me! And it steers SOOOOOOO smoothly with NO noise, I LOVE it!
