Ok im going to the track tomarow, What I need to know is this

Do I NEED a nitrous blow down tube hooked up?? Mybottle is in the back were my spare tire used to be. I cant get a blow down tube right now.

How HARD do they look at our cars?? I just dont wanna be turned away at the gate........

If i understand right, the general rule is as follows:

"If you can hide the violation of the rule 'well enough', it therefore becomes legal to enter the race and compete, except in the case that you win the event, we will then disqualify you and take any and all prize money"

did anybody else see this in the moe rule book?

I am pretty sure, does anybody really have access to a 2005 AHRA rule book? that is what i understand they are working off of, maybe they can get it posted on the website??

You need a blow down tube in your car no matter what.

The only way you can not have a blow down tube is if its completely isolated from the driver

from what i was told in yakima, is if have a hatchback you need a blowdown tube... if the bottle is in the trunk and the rear seat/rear firewall is intact its not necessary..i did not need to have one in my convertible mustang...

If Bill is teching your car, he'll want you to have one. The trunk usually isn't air tight from the passenger. The concern is if it pops, it will get to the passenger.

You don't need to have anything fancy. Get a hose with an AN fitting on it and route it through the floor. House of hose is open this morning.

Regarding the 2005 AHRA rulesbooks, Bob Hallock of the Spokane Pro Gas Association told me that the people at the font gates should have a copy available for reference. My understanding is that the key event staff have access to these rulesbooks. I was also told that if you really want one, they may sell you one. I don't know the price....but keep in mind it will only be good for three weeks.

here is mine its not set up like this, im just putting everything in for the night, so its down in were the spare is. this blow down tube is just sitting on there, I have it but i dont have hte 8AN fitting for it.
