:confused::confused:just wondering if anyone has had a moser 12-bolt installed in thier camaro/firebird. my question is on the mounting bracket for the lower control arms it looks to be adjustable up/down..what will these adjustments do for traction purposes? it was in the middle, i just moved them to the lowest point when i got under to find out why i almost crashed last weekend...all bolts were fairly loose, and of the 4 torque arm bolts 2 of them were backed out more than 1/8" (both on top)..steve did'nt you have one in yer t/a???

I believe those are so you can adjust your lower control arms if your car is lowered. When the car is lowered the control arm has to raise up in the rear to maintian proper alignment and keep wheel hop to a minimum.

Put some loctite on the torque arm bolts myself and my friend with a 01 SS had the same problem with those damn bolts. Thats one reason why I am going to 9" cause they are setup with the long bolts just like the 10 bolt. As far as the LCA bolt hole I think the other two are for your e-brake bracket atleast thats what I used them for.

If they are the same as the 12 bolt in my chevelle they adjust the instant center which will greatly improve your traction, the lower hole is for more traction, bringing your instant center line rearward........good luck.

as long as you're LCA's are lower in the back you're OK. It's when they are parrallel to the ground or slightly higher in the rear that you've got tire hop problems.

Like the other gentleman stated the lower they are in the rear the farther back you're instant center. I personally run mine the in lowest hole but I am lowered around 3/4 of an inch in the rear to help compensate for the 28" tires I run.

It can make the car a little funny on cornering with them on the lowest hole.
