17th - 22nd are the dates for Boise. I will be there helping out with Prezslers set up as well and Justin is going and I think Jeff is going to make the trip again as well.

Matt,

We are going to go down on Tuesday again I think if you want to meet up on the road somewhere. Last year we got there around 8:00 pm or so and just slep outside the gate and then let us in around 6:30am or so.
I already got some texas hold um lined up for you and Dylan again over and Greg hindmans pit again!!

Getaway... yeah I live in Potlatch and work in moscow. Car's not done. But HOPEFULLY it might be running tonight!

I have to go down the other way to Boise. Going to Spokane would add 100miles. But I might leave tuesday. I'll keep in touch. If you get there before I do save me a spot. Thats why I want to leave early so I can a better pit spot. Don't know if my wife is going. If not my buddy Mike will.

He runs Top Comp, we put in a new schmidt all aluminum 632 a couple monts ago he bought from frank and it has gone a best of 6.80 @ 199 in seattle. We also got a .998 60 ft out of it this season!! His dad bought a davis vette that he runs in super gas and he will be there as well. The vette got painted just like the dragster and looks awsome next to the stacker!!!

I will make sure you have a spot for sure!!!

Thats what I was thining!!! haha It takes me 2hrs and 20 minutes to get to my buddy's house in kennewick and then another 41/2 to 5 hrs to get to Boise from there. To make it in 3.5 hrs you would have to drive 135mph the whole way and not stop for gas!!

Alright children. According to mapquest "Total Est. Time: 6 hours, 41 minutes Total Est. Distance: 427.34 miles"

However, I recently made a trip to the Tri Cities and it took me around 2 hours to get there. The fastest I was going was 75mph (made no stops).

Now stop fighting or I'll have you ground you all! :P

Man that thing is going to fly when he gets it all dialed in(thats what he told me, haha like it isn't now!!!).....He sure knows how to get a N/a car down the track, he also leathal at the tree and always knows how to dial his ride.....

PHUCK I CANT WAIT FOR BOISE!!!!!!!!

Travis... Yeah, I heard he got a new ride but I don't know what the ride is. I'd have to say that that's a pretty good shake down pass... Where was he testing at? He's been doin this for a real long time and he's just flat been around it for even longer. Should be interesting to see what happens down at the classic with the 32 car field for "Top Gun".

Phil

BOOGEYMAN
10-09-2006, 07:45 PM
He bought a Stroupe GTO with a new Schmidt 818......

here is the car,

Todd , Tuper and Frank rented seattles track last thursday to test. Tupper posted up a 7.03 at 198 durring testing with the new twin turbo small block in his 49 ford!! Frank also bought another new ride(TWo this season) and put his 737 in Kurtis' mustang for Boise.

Top Gun is so much fun at Boise, last year I think the bump was 7.38 or something. We went to the dragster final but lost to a red light.

Travis.

Throttletag
10-09-2006, 10:05 PM
CHRIST ON A CRUTCH!!! Must be nice to be able to fork out the money for one of those new GTO's. I knew Tuper had a new set up from talkin' to Brian. Now what did Tamaz buy? I thought he just got a Pontiac to replace the '63 Vette earlier this season. HAHA, Business must be good!

BOOGEYMAN
10-09-2006, 10:20 PM
Yes bussiness is always good for Frank! He bought that new bad ass pontiac back in april but decided to buy another one for whatever reason. It is so much fun to travel with these guys and watch the money fly at the drop of a hat. When it comes time to step up they are always first inline!! Not to mention that when these guys sell there used bullets or spare parts they come at a very good deal.

That GTO retails for 80,000 rolling.......and Todd's old smaller(760 inch) engine retails for 56,500 so that gives you an idea what a new 818 inch bullet costs. Todd has a sponsership deal with Steve so the engines are not anywhere near what anyone else can buy one for.

Kurtis Tamez mustang went 7.05 in seattle with the 632 and now has Franks 737 so we shall see when his gets the chassis dialed in Boise....

On another note Prez hurt the aluminum Schmidt 632 so we put the old 632(he calls her shelia, lol) back in for Boise. should run low 7.20's in Boise with the spare. Runs 6.80's with the Schmidt engine.......oh well.

Travis.

P.S. What day are you heading down?? We are leaving Prez's castle around 5 or 6 on tuesday.
