I have heard Randy Ray builds some bitchin trannys. Call Brian at Shelley's and talk to him

For Aods theres no one better from what i hear than Lentech. Steve berg has one i believe in his cobra getting close to a 1000hp spit at it. Maybe brian can jump in and confirm it because he's the driver usually. There really isn't alot you need other than a good rebuilt kit, shift kit, one piece billet input and maybe a few other things. I haven't kept up on them too much just what i've heard over the years.

i had saxby talk to randy ray when he was over checkin out my trans issues.. he said he dont have a lot of experiance with em. just want a real nice shift and be reliable. converter and nitrous will make things a little tougher on it.. has anyone heard any good about louie's??

Like Ntrcptr90 said, lentech probably makes the best AOD's out. Putting over 1,000 to the one in Steve's Cobra. It's rated to a 1,000hp but we figure since it's in a lighter car than a fox body it should be good. Search around on some site's and see if u can find a used one... That's what we did.
