This is off NWtuner's site. Im going to head over and check it out, thought I would post it here in case some of you wanted to come as well....

Meeting Spots

Spokane.... We will meet at the fred meyer on freya right off of i-90 at 1015
C'Da & Post Falls- sounds like you guys are meeting at the walmart in post falls..please coordinate to be in spokane at the fred meyer by 1015...we will wait until 1030 then take off. i will wait no longer than 1040 for anyone.

Moscow/Pullman/Lewiston
You should be at Rosaur's on the north side of Moscow by 10:30am, we will be leaving by 11:45am, which should put us at Steptoe around 12:30, depending on how fast we drive :P

If you don't know where Rosaur's is in Moscow, find HWY 95 and go North (Washington St. - Its a one way) and you'll see it on the left.

Steptoe is just before Colfax if you are coming from Spokane and just after if you are coming from Moscow Pullman. I am assuming they are probably talking about steptoe butte state park. If you follow highway 27 which is what Pines turns into you will go all the way to Oakesdale and follow the highway through the town as you are getting out of town you will take a right on Hume road and then a few miles down you will see a sign for a right turn to Steptoe Butte State Park. Its really nice up there.

Once you get within 20 miles of it you just either follow the signs or keep driving on roads that look like they might lead you to it. You can see if for half an hour before you get there. Lisa drove up it with her mom and they both vowed never to do it again. No guardrails and it LOOKS like it's a mile drop to the farms below, even though if you drive off the road, you just cruise down to the next part and get back on the road.

At least in the first pic, at the very top, there's about 50 feet of guardrail next to 1/3 of the lower parking area... for "safety".

Danial? That's a good name for our Modders Anonymous meeting.

Oh, and on the way home I told a couple kids in a red/white/bluish/black hatch about the meet at steptoe. They had the mismatched body kit and the auxiliary/redundant/duplicate tach on the dash. I hear the driver downshift so I let him have it, in second. Well, the passenger was cracking up anyway.

I was hoping this would be the greatest get together I ever couldn't remember. Instead it promises to be a nice exchange of ideas and an all around wholesome, tea totalling experience. At least MarBle should be able to hook us up wiith some good Ecstasy and acid, right?

Well, I'll go anyway but I was hoping to drag in to work at about noon, on Tuesday, wearing the same thing I wore on Sunday, but with dirt in my hair, unexplainable ticks on my ankles, an angry letter from the Border Patrol, a half empty box of condoms, an embarrassing new tattoo and bald tires.

Frankly I am disappointed in the meet. My dearest hope was that the Kia Tuners were going to make an appearance. Were there any DSMs there? Maybe that's too far for a DSM to reliably drive? Too many miles all in a row? LOL!

Other than that, maybe we should do the burger grilling thing again... when it warms up a bit. That was pretty cool. The hang gliders kicked ass as well. We sort fo took over their spot and they were kind enough to skooch down a bit and launch from a spot where we wouldn't smack into them, with our antennas.

I saw that dude with the CRX and the "pothole modded" exhaust was broken down on the side of the road. That car is toast. I can only hope Brandon laughed as hard as I did.

I thought it was an alright turnout. Fun drive and great chance to test out the new car *Im in love btw... Im still trying to come up with a name for the nav voice that talks to me lol.

Hang gliders were cool, burgers were decent, people were pretty cool, guy in the Echo was a fag. But it was interesting seeing like 3 of the NW forums all getting together.

Brandon and I never got above about 80-90 on the way up, on the straights. Mid-third gear. His car looks badass in the twisties. No body roll at all.

It's hard to heel/toe downshift with a camera in your hand but I did ok.

Hey at least i have a daughter that love to do things with cars. every thing from driving to shows to turning wrenches, i sure dont know more than a dozen teen age girls that like to do things like that.
