went to the dyno yesterday...

Well i took my busted '01 z28 to P.T.R. Injection yesterday and rolled it up on the dyno... i was actually suprised at what it made, made a couple 3rd gear passes to warm up the drum and it made 398hp@5900, then we did 2 4th runs and the old turd made 431.3hp@6200 and 408tq@4800, and 433.1hp@6200 and 408tq@4800 not bad for for the only mods being a F.A.S.T. 76mm intake manifold, a futral motorsports cam, some exhaust (with cats)...and apparently a great tune (a/f 13.3-12.8) we might have got a few more out of it, the power was still climbing when the limiter kicked on.. thanks to Kurt for getting me in with no notice, and as always the great price..$65hr :D

Gotta love the power output on those ls1's. What kind of dyno do they use? Whats it cost just to do three pulls with no tuning? I kind of want to get some baseline numbers for my car.

Kurt is a great guy, we dyno'd and tuned my jetta at his shop. not to mention he did the stand alone system in the car.. PTR Injection 509-868-5453

he just charges $65 per hour, do as you wish... pretty good deal... i wanna say its a dynocom? dynojet maybe? dont know for sure but it works
