so i seem to have blow up 2 d15 one with a 8v and the other with a 16v. someone help me out with a d16 long block or short block. please!

I have a dohc zc, it's a 1.6. Its a complete longblock!! You can also use a sohc head on it. Let me know if your interested.

you cannot use a sohc zc head on a dohc zc block, the pattern is not the same.

Yeah you can, it's exactly the same.

No you can't.
The dohc zc shares only the same crank, connecting rods and transmission bolt pattern as the sohc d's
one guy on the internet did it a couple years ago, but he had to egg out holes on the cylinder head and use goofy head bolts and run extra oil lines like primitive ls-vtec conversions.
Not a direct swap, not exactly the same.

dude just get a vtech controller and set vtech to like 3000 rpm and you are set....
